The whole "you have good years with injuries and bad years with injuries" seems to have changed so now it's "you are randomly the one team not affected by injuries" or "you have a lot of injuries". I don't remember last Bears team that wasn't on their 3rd/4th strings across defense and oline.

Comey is shortsighted as hell.

I don't know if any remember the Vince Gray race, he wasn't a very popular dem, but in his race in mayoral DC race a leak from the FBI came out that he was being investigated in related to a known bribester. Election happened, Gray lost, turned out investigation turned up nothing. This is a good example of the reason why FBI normally doesn't comment on these things. This whole thing has been very annoying because it so plays into the punditry of the media. It has largely come out that there is no way we can evaluate this information because the FBI does not know what's in it themselves, but instead of reinforcing that narrative, it's just going to be the "it looks bad! They have same information probably but it looks bad to undecideds!"

I half-follow things, but I like keeping up on farm. From that casual follow perspective: -It seems like the term "raw" often applies to our LatAm prospects, even as they hit stateside. I feel like this is a little surprising because at this point those prospects may have had up to 2 years of "professional" ball after signing. Are the programs they go into after signing at age 16 professional or are they no different than a high school/club team schedule? If this is wrong, and it's not actually a "thing" that LatAm prospects are more raw stateside then delete my account.

Just read a good fangraphs piece that I can't find now that I'm on my phone of how Francona has been able to use his three best relievers at any point (thanks be to miller), while Maddon has barely been able to pitch strop/Rondon/chapman because chapman's primadonna routines and "injuries" to strop/Rondon. I'm not buying the injuries stuff. Rondon and strop have looked good, and it's the World Series, what are you waiting for?

Yeah they look amazing. Especially Lopez, he has extended like 10 possessions. Bulls pace is so much better this year.
