  1. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 02:24 PM) Forgot they are $2/ticket not $1/ticket. It's okay, I read the same forbes article.
  2. Probably not most but the statement isn't factually inaccurate if using the barrell as a measurement.
  3. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 01:54 PM) I actually wonder how close this is to being true. Not sure what re-sale value is but http://www.amazon.com/SKOLNIK-Carbon-Steel...55+Gallon+Drums
  4. Speaking of: it's not like delivery services are lowing prices. Shouldn't they see some bigger margins from gas being $2 cheaper? They don't look like any price boon is built into their stocks now.
  5. The barrels themselves are more expensive than what's inside of it.
  6. If I had a ton of money and wanted to build a premiere baseball organization I think I'd probably do this but I wouldn't be shocked if it blows up in their faces.

    **2016 Films Thread**

    Seeing the revenant tomorrow.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 11:59 AM) I dont know why you have been assuming this, since it has been said all offseason that he is a left fielder. I mean, he has a good arm, so lets put him at shortstop, right? If he has the right attitude, he is a phenomenal athlete, im sure he could make the switch and he could learn. No problem I don't enjoy switching positions for players, but YC does seem to be a perfect fit for RF except that he has not played it. Wouldn't you want him shutting off 1st to 3rd and 2nd to home ?
  9. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if the offensively deficient white sox did not see it worth it to continue to develop an offensive first OFer named Avi Garcia, who else would make the space for him?
  10. The MARLINS signed someone. Incredible.
  11. Even though this was rumored, I have to say I found both of today's signings surprising in a vacuum.
  12. Man people are really going to be hurt by s*** like that.
  13. So Jim Thome really is an active coach, huh? Is he traveling all over or does he stay in Arizona? I can't remember if his work with Davidson was just in ST.
  14. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 12:36 PM) In CF. Sox would not be using him in CF. He's still going to be a huge upgrade over Avi. We thought this stuff about Melky. Bad fielders replacing terrible ones hasn't really helped much.

I am surprised that federal fines could not be applied to taxes...or worse, create a lien on his property. That's an interesting idea actually, if this dude does not pay the fines if they apply to the property itself (like prop taxes) and would need to be paid upon inheritance. Obviously his sons will abide, I know But anyway cut off power and snacks.

I assume he is not paying taxes at all now, but feel like all farmers take out a loan on the year, but maybe that's more grain/corn farmers.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 11:07 AM) I hope so, but at the same time, Cliven Bundy has owed the federal government millions of dollars for years now and, as far as I know, is still illegally grazing his cattle on BLM land. Fines don't mean much if they won't enforce them. So, is there really no way to "garnish" wages? Surely the man takes out loans, etc. He gets electricity, presumably. I feel like with normal people these would be effected.
  18. Yeah, you are right, Sanders and Trump are the exact same. End thread.
  19. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 11:19 AM) I don't really want Fowler, but this is ridiculous. Here's one aspect that I relate to, however. If we sign Fowler, that is a position I still want to upgrade in the coming years, yet our OF would be set for the next 3
  20. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 12, 2016 -> 11:07 AM) Shocker a SEC fan trying to start conference wars. LOL
