  1. So David Lee is an NBA champion.
  2. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--bull..._medium=twitter savvy move from him. Hope he stays healthy.
  3. This was such a weird and satisfying cup win. Felt very different. -2010 just seemed to be destiny. It just seemed like their year, they had put in the time and growth. That team was loaded, probably more than any other in terms of depth, but obviously our stars are better now. -2013 I appreciated how hard it was to win a cup. The team had battled to two first round exits while they re-tooled, and those playoffs were HARD. Their ability to come from the depths against the Red Wings to me was the real beginning of the hawks I will remember: the ones who you just knew would come back. - 2015 - A decidedly different regular season. Battling through major injuries and sporadic play that seemed to show up in the non cup years. Weirder to me this playoffs was the lack of a big playoff forward just getting in front of the net like buff and bickell. The defense and goaltending ended up great. The last two games I think I did take for granted that the Lightning very rarely could get a shot off without a backcheck on their stick, or player to block in front. When they DID get space you saw how dangerous they were, but man was that rare. I can't really tell the difference between 96-98 bulls, but man have these cups been so different and satisfying in different ways. This is the sports moment you crave as a fan. You not only get to enjoy fantastic hockey, but be fans of it.
  4. I was thinking about the idea of "knowing how truly special this is"... To me, the most unbelievable part to this is that we COULD take winning for granted. That is an amazing feeling.
  5. I peed next to Jeremy roe nick when I was 11. Tough to beat that.
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 10:48 PM) The next Pronger, but less of a douchbag. His DB quotient depends on whether he ends up on stl blues in his career.
  7. Hammer finished this series with two perfect games. Awesome playoffs for him.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 10:31 PM) Bishop says he has a torn groin. I don't believe that it could be torn and he could still play. Strained maybe NoT sure why you'd want a goalie with a torn groin playing. He did play damn well though. But nobody outplays Crawford in a 7 game series
  9. Lol Carrillo. YEAH a Darling!
  10. Man, you look at the banners in the rafters now and you think what a successful franchise. Amazing damn team. This won was won so differently too. 2010 was most surreal, 2013 was most fun, this was just incredible.
  11. I was too young to appreciate with the Bulls and just knowing they'd come through. This team has that. They are incredible.
  12. Richards with some magic
  13. Kane so often plays with such controlled deliberate paCd that when he goes all out with his speed it's breathtaking how fast he is as well.
  14. That was some shot by Seabs for naught
  15. Is it still early?
  16. Too cute by half - the Philadelphia 76ers story
  17. Dominant period for lightning. Thank god for crow.
  18. Balta - KC Johnson has article today highlighting Boylen as a defensive coach
  19. Reading conflicting things, I took the Arya seen that she was about to warg, but others said she was blinded as punishment.
  20. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 03:40 PM) Who was the best hitter in the draft that they passed on? Trout.
  21. Looking at the onslaught of position players joining the big leagues with highly anticipated debuts, I have to wonder if the Sox will have come out of a generational surplus of hitting talent empty handed because of organizational deficiencies, though possible they were able to take advantage by getting better pitching talent than they otherwise would have.
  22. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 02:17 PM) If he's good to play, then he really should have come back out for G5. I think its a feint, and he sits. It sure looked like he broke his collar bone. I can't imagine the pain of getting checked into the boards with a broken collar bone. Perhaps a mild shoulder separation? May all be for show.
  23. Yeah Verajao looked awful to start year.
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 14, 2015 -> 10:48 PM) It's called depth. You know, that thing the Cavs don't have any of. It's called a healthy Verajao in May, you know, the thing that never happens?
