Man that is a terrible hire after firing someone for their lack of peaks.

Jerry Kill's health would scare a lot of ADs I'm guessing.

Zack Greinke?
Great pitching does cover a lot of holes, not sure I'm in on trading for Greinke thou.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 4, 2014 -> 05:50 PM) Asik and Bellinelli both werent allowed on the court until Thibs trusted them either. It comes down to that, if he trusts you, you play. McDermott hasnt earned it yet, Mirotic certainly has I feel like Asik actually played a lot that year.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 4, 2014 -> 05:34 PM) Im pretty sure McDermott is getting a redshirt year. It seemed to work out for Jimmy Butler pretty well Yes...it's nice Jimmy Butler worked out because otherwise we only have snell and teague to point to (kind of unfair since Snell actually played a lot last year).

Ferguson Riots
And what does any of that then have to do with anything? Why are you b****ing about some f***ing looting 2 weeks ago after a man was choked to death and gets no justice. Nobody cares about your fetish for fully operational 7-11s.

Sox have contacted Max Scherzer
I don't really ever want to be in that much on a pitcher unless they just won us a world series and we think the team is gonna be great for a long time.

McDermott has been a dumpster fire on defense and is hitting 9% of uncontested 3s. But it's early december. Players can get better just through practice, and lets remember that Bellinelli was a healthy scratch in games in december before he figured out how to play for thibs.

Would be great if this were like that made-up situation where everyone was so intimidated by the prettiest girl in school, she said yes to the only one who asked. Of course that story never happened in the history of high school so...

missed the whole game, can't believe it was away! What jerk scheduled a home-away back to back after an 8 game road trip? nothing for your 7 foot knees like hopping on a plane after a double overtime.

Sox sign Melky Cabrera
wellp, wasn't the 14 mill others had guessed. Good news (to me) as if he got 14 per melky would be anchored above that level.

All these Melo reports coming out. I have a feeling it's more NY media needling him now that his team is predictably crap. But, if it's the other way, what an idiot.

Ferguson Riots
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 3, 2014 -> 11:51 PM) This is why the NYPD changed their policy in 1985 to disallow chokeholds: Using methods known to unnecessarily increase the lethality of a situation should absolutely be illegal, but this guy killed someone and walks away free. Of course, they could just pull out their gun and shoot them in this case and would be perfectly fine. Funny that that language is even written.

Does a prosecutor request a certain charge, or do they ask a grand jury if any charges would apply? I have to imagine this is manslaughter at least.

Great time for coaches who want a pay raise.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 3, 2014 -> 08:32 PM) Big 12 already has the Texas market covered. If I had to throw 4 names out there to get to a 14 team conference, I would say BYU,UCF,USF and maybe Colorado St? That's the only market the team that runs that conference cares about.

the problem is he didn't actually foul him hard enough so when he grabbed his arms ellis broke free for a shot. Giving us a foul on the floor would have been generous because with 2 seconds left, a half court shot was reasonable.

Might as well double down on Texas, since their flagship has such a stranglehold over the future of the conference.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 3, 2014 -> 04:55 PM) Hopefully the Big 12 realizes they need to expand to 12. BYU should obviously be the top candidate. Not really sure after that. Central Florida is way out of the footprint but otherwise makes sense, and West Virginia is in there anyways. UCONN is way way out of the footprint. Cincinnati is quality but it's a city school in Ohio. Doesn't exactly match what they're going for. Still probably the best option after BYU. What about Houston?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 3, 2014 -> 03:52 PM) Shaq is weirdly bitter about certain players. I still am not really a fan of him on TNT, i think they tried to recreate Barkley and it just isnt the same I saw him provide value one time, and it was him breaking down the good and bad of the knicks triangle offense. And everyone on the set was like "WOW YOU SAID SOMETHING OF VALUE". I think everyone thought it would be a good idea, but had no idea how mopey he is. Re: bulls. Was so mad. Said horrible things. Strange thing to say, but to me the difference between when bulls offense is old bulls or new bulls is when Dunleavy turns it on. We are good when he's on floor because his spacing, but when he takes advantage of it we are great. Kirk though. ugh. That is not the player who is looking for the pass, Ellis was the shooter on that play. If you are gonna foul you have to be close so he can't put his arms up and claim a shooting motion. That and Gasol knew Ellis was shooter and was all over it, Ellis would have had to do a Nowitski sky shot for the win.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 10:35 PM) For a truckload after the Bulls match a max offer sheet. Oh well, salary cap won't matter. This team will just need to simmer with it's parts. Add in more wing depth this draft. I love having a player who can get fouls at will. It's what I always hated about other teams and I love it so much.
