  1. Let's hope we get lucky (this organization deserves to be lucky IMO) and these players pan out. Hahn will have rebuilt this team with ML ready players that we'll have cost controlled. This will allow us to plug in gaps with FA.
  2. Wow. Edit: From what I'm reading the season to look at with him was when he dominated AA as a 21 year old.
  3. Oh man, I forgot about Egwu. Missouri is struggling with rebounding with JWIII being the only good rebounder. That's going to be a major painpoint Saturday. Damn I'm excited. Last good game before the slugfest conference games of the SEC.
  4. Haha, crap, I'm gonna leave that there.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 06:29 PM) Conte has been less noticeable since Ratliff started playing, but that Gordon TD shouldnt have happened at the end of the game. He let Gordon get behind him AND failed to make a play on the ball/or knock Gordon out of bounds He's just so annoying to watch. And frankly (though he also had mistakes) I thought at least Steltz came in and made plays vs. run.
  6. I'm going to game tonight. I got these tix a month ago. Was so pumped to see Rose back in person and hear him announced. Fast forward a month and I'm going to watch a game with Jeff Teague starting and being backed up by DJ Augustin. Cruel, cruel world.
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 05:03 PM) I still think Packers win the division but Bears defense should look considerably different by week 1 of the playoffs. Ratfliff should be closer to 100%, Briggs will be back and Peanut will be back. Those are three difference makers who are major step-ups from the stiffs that have been playing for them. I'm actually not sure Bowman has been a step down. We do severely miss the forced fumbles though.
  8. I was going to start talking up Jordan Clarkson before his pretty bad game yesterday. But, Mizzou's trio of Clarkson, Brown and Ross are doing the majority of our scoring. But it will be fun to see Tate and Clark go at each other. Clark hasn't had a game as good as some of Tates yet but he is a tough player and shows a lot of flashes. His hops are insane.
  9. I really just want the Bears to get into playoffs. That will be a successful season for me. Not only will it mean we fought our way and won out, but it means the Lions hilariously choked their best chance for the playoffs in years.
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 04:33 PM) The Bears have a huge weakness in reading rushing attacks, and the Eagle will compound that with option and misdirection. Its going to be ugly. Bostic may as well just run in circles, he may accidentally run into McCoy more times than if he actually tries to read the ball.
  11. I'm not going to reserve my playoff tickets yet. Bears Eagles game will be terrifying. Best rushing team in league vs. Worst rushing team? That'll be a whole lot of not fun to watch (I had to suffer through Mizzou Auburn on the Mizzou side)
  12. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 04:51 PM) Shorts scored on him 2 weeks ago Well that's what I get for relying on Fox sports insights.
  13. That wasn't even special to you, but yeah, your edit there says everything I need to know. That's awful.
  14. My favorite play yesterday wasn't even Jeffrey's catch it was Marshall jumping over Joe Haden and then stiff arming him, only to later be first WR to score a TD on Haden this year. He was playing like a man yesterday.
  15. I think this thread has embodied the very worst of sports. Pages and pages of defending despicable behavior because the perpetrator plays sports on x favorite team.
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 04:32 PM) That was such a WTF throw. In the going back in time moment though, that would have been roughing the passer and we'd have kept the ball with a first down.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 04:27 PM) He played well enough for the media to back off of him for a week. He should have, but all the articles I'm reading really are still not letting this crap go. You'd think Flynn also torching Dallas D and Cutler playing well vs. a great D on the road would end this crap , but page hits and all.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 04:23 PM) He had a 102.2 QBR. He played quite damn well. K, but you just repeated that back without saying Great which really undercuts your point in nitpicking word choice.
  19. Man, Bears coverage is obnoxious this week. One thing I've hated about the Cutler era is how so many sports writers just write their article on their stance seemingly unrelated to actual play. Cutler didn't play great, he was probably squeezing ball too tight and pressing in first half. But that said, Cleveland is a much much much better D than Dallas, and turnovers aside we drove it easily on them all day. Edit: But one thing that clearly Jay probably will never have is being comfortable in pocket. You could definitely tell the difference where Jay missed the opportunity to step up that McCown has made so easy. It buys the O so much time and try to guard Marshall/Jeffrey/Bennet for 6 seconds
  20. Would be amazing if he spins this into another big payday. I wonder what highest paid QB is per win.
  21. Bears have been over 30 points 6x this season. So crazy.
  22. Mizzou playing like garbage against western michigan at home. They better get their ish together before U of I
  23. If the cowboys hadn't blown huge leads vs Lions and pack bears would be cruising.
  24. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 12:32 AM) No. Lions can tie the Bears for record tomorrow and they have the tie breaker by beating Chicago twice. He was joking since we were 4-0 vs AFC North teams
