Slightly better news on James Franklin (QB-MIZZ not HC-VANDY). He'll only miss 3-5 weeks, not the season as was reported. Hopefully it's the lower end, though we'll still need Mauk v. our big games of FLA and USC.

I continue to think that if we throw them a bone, we will see same scenario six months from now. Crisis governing.

Michael Sam, Kony Ealy and Markus Golden are a revelation. I don't think we can take SC and FLA with Mauk. But I'm thrilled for Coach Pinkel, who doubled down on his system and recruiting and brought his team back. Franklin - get better, man. You had NFL possibility before this, please get back and show everyone up. IF we drop 2 to SC and FLA, but get back and beat out the back end of the schedule, possible BCS birth.
