QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2013 -> 06:41 PM) Oregon is about to go under NCAA sanctions. He had to bolt. I get that, but they were about to go under sanctions 2 weeks ago when he said he was going to stay at Oregon.

I hope we develop an offense that can keep the D off the field. They really did great work, but when your offense creates strings of 3 and outs, you can only hold an NFL offense for so long before they string some plays together.

I just...what a dick move to claim you are staying, reassure your players, and then say " nope, i'm taking it". Ugh.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 16, 2013 -> 05:49 PM) @PaulCalvisi Multiple NFL sources tell me this morning that Ken Whisenhunt is "a very strong candidate" to become the next head coach of the Phi Eagles. Ken! There's no QB again!

So do you think offering Asst. Head Coach to Decamillis was a way to get him out of contract for ST?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 16, 2013 -> 05:28 PM) Brandon Marshall@BMarshall Heard so many GREAT things about Coach Trestman can't wait to follow his lead. Reading his book now #coolread #BEARDOWN It's too bad Hester can't read - maybe Trestman put together a coloring book at some point, too. hahaha, really loved this. Best thing about Hester's tweets is that they are written with near perfect grammar most of the time.

I think it's clear Trestman has impressed in interviews since his HC stints in Canada, but GMs are worried about tying their jobs to an unconventional horse. If Emery thinks Trestman has the best plan, I'll go along. I'm interested to see what kind of personnel he brings with him.

Mizzou with one of the coldest shooting games I've seen. I knew this would be a tough game away without bowers, but damn this team is full of streaky shooters that all seem to go hot or cold together.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 12, 2013 -> 02:33 AM) This thread is pretty hilarious. My posting started with "eating healthy is more expensive than eating unhealthy", we somehow are back there, just with different participants haha Anyways time to go out and lower my life expectancy, huzzah! Maybe it was due to your pedantic arguments and thinking lake and halsted was the same as lake and Cicero.

Americans Life Expectancy
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 12, 2013 -> 12:52 AM) They do own a car. But they have to pass a ton of junk food places. Why dont they just go to the closer easier places? Why do they take the time and energy to go shop somewhere farther away? Because its important to them, so they go out of there way to do it. Yeah? Do you expel a lot of time and energy driving?

I'm guessing they own a car in your suburb.
