So, anecdote on Community Resource Officers. My high school had one. And I liked the guy, he did do a lot of out reach and stuff. But one time there was a fight in the atrium during a passing period, and dude just runs up and pepper sprays everywhere. It spread all over into the upper floors and pretty much everyone was in class with tears and coughing. I kind of think when they have so little to do, they over reach when a small thing happens.

Laurence Bowers of Mizzou came back from an ACL tear and yeah, his jumpshot is pretty great now. He can even consistently hit the three (he's a PF). But I'm hoping rose has a better recovery because Bowers appears to have lost some athleticism and shotblocking since the injury.

I hope we develop an offense that can keep the D off the field. They really did great work, but when your offense creates strings of 3 and outs, you can only hold an NFL offense for so long before they string some plays together.

I think it's clear Trestman has impressed in interviews since his HC stints in Canada, but GMs are worried about tying their jobs to an unconventional horse. If Emery thinks Trestman has the best plan, I'll go along. I'm interested to see what kind of personnel he brings with him.

Mizzou with one of the coldest shooting games I've seen. I knew this would be a tough game away without bowers, but damn this team is full of streaky shooters that all seem to go hot or cold together.
