  1. 1) it's clear that GS has their number. The bulls can't resist playing that up tempo game and we can't keep up or seem to slow it down. 2) It seems thibidou is trying to run the offense away from rose a lot more. At the moment it doesn't look like everyone is on the same page. I also think there seems to be a tendency with some of the guys to want to show off what they worked on in the summer, and a lot of that is 1-on-1. They haven't had a chance to see if it's successful in the NBA live action games, and I think that's taking away from the flow of our offense. I'm surprised that our team, which has been largely the saame for 3 years, is the team that looks so out of synch, but west coast trips have always had the tendency to do that to us.
  2. Darren Sproles has been an incredible pickup for them. edit: note to san diego, if you hear that the saints are interested in a player you have who is exploring free agency, sign that player! Cut someone else you think is good that probably sucks!
  3. It was still cool, and it's been a "new nfl" for a bit now and that record still stood for 28 years? That's pretty amazing.
  4. I don't know, I think what we have coming up sunday is worse.
  5. Yes...all poor people are alcoholics on welfare.
  6. If you all treated this as harshly as you've treated the small # of voter fraud cases concerning poor minorities...you would pass laws trying to strip all indiana politicians of their right to vote (but more realistically, throw high barrier obstacles to affluent white people voting).
  7. I like Bell too. I liked barber too. But I like them a lot more as 5-7 carry guys than 20-25.
  8. I agree, we should just make up the rules as we go along.
  9. do you guys think this is the worst offense ever trotted out on an nfl field? QB Josh McCown RB Bell WR Hester WR Bennett? is he playing TE spaeth bears oline.
  10. Flash, get her a vinturi. I'm going to club lucky for new years eve.
  11. I doubt they really did know the long lasting effects of concussions. And all the protections now are not retroactive. You still have players from the 70s and 80s blowing their heads off because they can't take the pain anymore. That's not "just business".
  12. Webber said that the perkins' reputation among the players is that he's vastly overrated on one-on-one defense by the media.
  13. Glad to see we're doing the "x team will totally regress this year. The division will be terrible, if we can just get to 88 wins..."
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 24, 2011 -> 03:54 PM) Watching NBAtv preview and CWebb reading my mind on Kendrick Perkins. Ha, I watched that yesterday too. It makes sense. You can probablly be a lot more aggressive when you have KG guarding the rim behind you. But, no he didn't look that great last year for the thunder albeit he was injured.
  15. I"m pretty amped up. Also, good to see Chuck Hayes was cleared.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 06:38 PM) Alpha restated my point - why do ANYTHING? Why say "i'm sorry you lost a crazy evil father who murdered millions of his own people?" Is that gesture really going to stop nuclear war (quite the leap btw)? Is it really going to repair relations? This, coupled with Carters "oh that whole unprovoked attack on the South that killed four people is just a friendly reminder that their nation deserves respect." Come on. Jenks, You have a very proud family with nuclear weapons that, clearly, by nature of how they run their country, are completely irrational. If that is the case, and you want them to stop being so insular and stupid, why on earth would you insult their leader during mourning? You aren't talking to your friends, or your coworkers, you are talking to crazy people with atomic weapons.

And guess what, the USPS gives them a sweetheart deal.
  18. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 08:14 PM) Vinny's not a bad coach. He was just given a very flawed roster, especially after they let go of BG. I'm not saying he's the best of the best, but I think he could be a top 15 coach which is slightly ahead of the pack. And as long as he gives his players freedom and massages their egos, he's good. People underestimate the good he did for Joakim and Derrick. Making Derrick learn from the bench when no one else, including most fans were ballsy enough to do so, and taking the criticism on the chin. He didn't know how to use a time out or call a final play. The two most noticeable things a coach can do, vinny was atrocious at.
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 12:37 AM) Every batsuit that ever existed http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploa...infographic.jpg there's no way that's an accurate list.

QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 05:24 PM) Well, considering that most people deal with the USPS every single day, the chances of bad experiences vs. bad experiences with other carriers (FedEx, UPS, et al) is greatly increased. Oh, and the financial troubles are greatly exagerrated. http://leftlaborreporter.wordpress.com/201...orker-benefits/ "The manufactured insolvency crisis is the result of the Postal Accountability Enhancement Act (PAEA) passed in 2006, which requires that USPS pre-fund 75 years of retiree health benefits within a ten-year period beginning in 2007. PAEA’s mandate makes USPS unique. No other business or government pre-funds retiree health care over this length of time. In fact, most businesses and governments fund this benefit on a pay-as-you-go basis. As a result of the pre-funding mandate, USPS lost $20 billion between 2007 and 2010. Before the mandate, USPS was debt free; now it is $13 billion in debt all of which was taken on to meet the pre-funding mandate. Without the pre-funding payments, USPS operations would have made profits of nearly $700 million over the last four years." Yep, profit despite the economic meltdown. PEople keep posting this, but it's quite obvious that the postal service is in the decline and will eventually be insolvent. And ask UPS how that makes them feel. They quite often push local deliveries onto USPS. For all the "private companies are awesome!" ideas that are thrown around mail delivery, I think they underestimate how the USPS takes on the most expensive deliveries, rural and local. But i am excited for junk mail to die. I can't keep up with it.
  22. What do we see in the east beside heat and bulls anyway? D'antoni is tone deaf when it comes to his players needs to stay healthy. Even though I hate him, I feel for Amare this year. He's going to get run to death.
  23. I'm terrified. My roommate is a big, big, big scream at the tv u of I fan. If we win it will suck and if we lose it will REALLY ReALLY SUCK.
