I hope Leo Burnett double-dog dares Lebron, then there will be no turning back.

QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 08:37 PM) I think we dont have ANY IDEA if its an 80-90 pct of him not coming here. LOL We dont know or have any idea because no one knows but Lebron. That might be the figure in your own mind from reading tweets but thats not logical IMO. i just feel a lot like i did around saturday when we were trying to sign damon. It was a ton of favorable news at first and it seemed very likely, but the longer it goes on the less likely i see it as happening.

kind of like with every free agent chase/big trade, i feel like the longer it goes on, the less likely it is to happen. If Wade/Bron declared saturday it was going to be Chicago, that was the time. The longer it waits, the less it feels like anything good will come out of this. And I second the thoughts that after so many teams were structuring their teams deals specifically for this '10 offseason, it's a huge blow to have nothing shakeup and just have another year of celts-lakers.

that just totally seems to twist "rose wanted joe johnson because they were friends" to "rose doesn't seem to want lebron". It's a total a + b = 9

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:12 AM) @PDcavsinsider - Based on several people who have talked to LeBron in last 72 hours, he is giving impression he's undecided after last week's meetings. He really likes Rose & Noah. But there's lack if shooters on roster. Also it doesn't sound like he's exactly being welcomed by Rose. Also, can confirm several reports of a rift between Wes Wesley & James camp. Wes was indeed pushing Chicago, I'm told. At this point, LeBron has tightly closed ranks, only seriously talking about decision with a couple people. Which is why so little info. that's not 140 characters.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 06:33 PM) Turns out the no privileges thing about LeBron's friends isn't true. I figured, i'm sure it was a single restriction or something that got blown out of proportion in the link. I have to feel for a competitive guy like lebron prolly is, there has to be something compelling to one team telling you how you're going to win with a great team and the other telling you that we'll let you do whatever you want. It's like the girl playing hard to get vs. the girl right there for the taking.

Ozzie, Gardenhire, or Leyland?
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 07:31 PM) The team had some big leads. Outside of game 5, he really had no hard decisions to make in regards to the starters. eh, while we were successful in 2005, you'd have to watch the games to see that for some reason they were the best managed games ozzie's ever had. That suicide squeeze v. boston, for instance.

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 4, 2010 -> 04:38 AM) Ric Bucher's tweets tonight were absolutely awful, he seemed to be talking out of his ass for attention and taking a shot in the dark in the case he's right. If he is he looks brilliant, if not he chalks it up to this all being so unpredictable. Not letting anything he said get me down about this, doesn't mean much in my mind. Listen, I laugh when in a forum people act like sport reporters have ethics. they aren't covering a war, self promotion is all it ever will be.

ahh, classic soxtalk, state something that is clearly true and the research to act like they are right by bringing info that is false. Yes, wikipedia is great. Congratulations. I wasn't born in 1970. Since I've been born it's been a merry-go-round of the same teams. I'd rather a non-western europe final happen. INSANE.

i'm sure if there is a group of fans outside you would at least acknowledge them as to not appear like a dick. He spoke on "lebron james day" too.

f***ing hell if no one moves it'll be hard to watch the NBA this season. This offseason affected the way teams have managed for like 5 years. I was hoping for some legitimate power shakeups.

Um, he could get killed. Depends on how much money the cartels had on the game. But he's just at likely to get killed by a random bum. He probably won't die unless argentina advances.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 05:42 PM) we obviously need a government program to open vegetable stores in Mississippi. well, yeah, we could decide to heavily subsidize healthy things instead of corn syrup and meat.
