Great Jose Rodriguez night. Why does Quezada only play like once a week?

Boy, Moncada is just so out of sorts. Would rather he go back to his 2018 swing at nothing form for a few weeks than this.

Looks like he’s mastered his fastball now. That was part 1.

Fire Tony - Then What?
I truly just don't believe hiring a manager is as hard as the white sox make it out to be.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Liam Hendriks has a flexor strain. “It’s a matter of how he responds to treatment over the next few days before we come up with an exact timetable,” White Sox GM Rick Hahn said. “But the preliminary estimate is three weeks.” @ptatcis that news any different or more clarifying?

I don't believe Hendriks has had TJS before.

Really? I feel like HS baseball is different. Starting pitchers go 5 IP+, middle of the order bats end up with 5-6 HRs. It's baseball-like. I always enjoyed HS baseball around here.

Well shoot I don't think they will pull it off. Gonna need some real magic (other team committing extraordinary amounts of errors and walks)

I know, it's a beautiful star I orbit around. It's insane. BUt it's similar to people that love sudoku. I get this box score, I look, there will be like 25 runs scored. You'll say to yourself "wow must have been some big performances" but then basically every hitter just has a single. But there will be like 30 errors you can't see. Then you'll look at the hitters and they all struck out like 15 times, but the opposing pitchers will all have horrendous numbers barely striking out anyone. I just want to be the scorekeeper at the games. It has to be just stupefying and hilarious and beautiful watching this baseball-like game.

This DSL game rules. DSL White Sox losing 10-9. They have 12 Walks and 9 hits, and no extra base hits. A DSL game extraordinaire. My gut says DSL White Sox pull it out.

Loidell is now 2-2 with a walk, hitting .727 the first two games. Hernandez with a single and no ks.

I don’t think it’s a signing incentive, I think the money is the incentive. But it could come at a cost of development if your DR training and facilities are garbage.

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
Sadly true but if you are going to make a logo for yourself you aren't allowed to ever slump at the plate.

I want to bench Yoan for Burger when Eloy gets back.

DSL down 6-0, no hits but quite a few walks.

How much do you think that matters? I just feel like with so many important guys they've done the Tax strategy with, I'd want the training they receive top notch so they don't miss a beat. But I don't really care if building is old so long as they have good equipment/teachers. I'd be impressed if they had everything they have in AZ in DSL but I'm sure they do not.

2021-22 NBA Thread
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10038623-latest-nba-intel-sources-expect-zach-lavine-to-re-sign-with-chicago-bulls The URL says it all. But Jake Fischer has been the go-to this offseason (for loser teams like us jk), I expect it to happen. Glad I didn't pay attention to Klutch rumors (also laundered through Jake Fischer)

@Y2Jimmy0 I feel like in a fairly recent futuresox interview with Badler he implied sox DR facilities are behind compared to the rest. Didn't we just update those in 2017? Is this another comiskey park II situation where they updated something that was immediately out of date compared to the rest of the league?

Worst Managers / Head Coach
I can't put Fox ahead of Nagy. His roster was so much worse and he gave Nagy Fangio.

It's funny to think about. It's like 21 jump street opportunity, basically out of baseball for two years, then going back to play in your high school as a bigger, stronger 20 year old lol. (I know he's likely played in backfields and stuff for the last two years and that DSL isn't high school etc etc)
