Awesome, him and Thompson turning it on to end they year would be fantastic. Kelley started off really well before losing the thread in inning three, he's really fatigued quick in his starts this year.

One thing that really is amazing about football is it always seems that whatever your weakest position is will also be the one that gets the most injuries.

I'm inclined to believe he's a mix of average. But yeah I remember that game when he destroyed WCJ and they were out both embiid and simmons and beat the bulls by like 50.

Right exactly, him failing at birmingham has less to do with power nad more to do with not being able to make contact with the increased stuff and approaches. But so far so good, really good.

Luis Robert cleared for Rehab Assignment
correct. I would say few better have utilized their ownership stakes into more, including I'm assuming his knowledge of mlbam for stadium. Biggest winner has to be that LA Dodgers owner who was completely under water from divorce, basically forced to sell, and somehow got 2 billion for them at the time.

at this point I wouldn't be surprised when we hear "chicago trades patrick williams, coby white and s&T lauri markannen for Karl Anthony Towns"

So I was always skeptical that Yolbert would have enough offense to make it to the majors because his numbers in a watered down Cuba, as a 20 year old, were not good. His age 20 season in Cuba he hit .255/.299/.328. So the idea that he could be fast tracked to majors on his defense and that he had "gap power" all seemed far fetch. To that extent, I'm just happy that he's shown much more offensive prowess since. He was old for W-S, so him doing well there was nice. Now he's made quick work of Bham, also nice. But keep in mind Yolmer Sanchez was a .300 hitter in AAA as a 20 year old, so these stats may still translate to a weak offensive player in majors. But it's not bad news, it's good news. I thought he'd just wash out and would be a complete waste of money given how cheap defensive infielders are, but at least it looks like he may indeed become a cheap defensive infielder in mlb. Or traded. Either way much better than him just sucking.

I would really worry about that mix even though he’s obviously really good. Though he never took off like I thought he would after 19. It just goes back to having 5 guys then all between the top 20-35 in the nba. Who takes the step back to do the dirty work? At some point you need a variety of roles because that setup sounds like the 19 sixers except without they had a top 5 guy in embiid and a top 20 (I think 10 now) in Butler.

100% agree. I don't see this bulls team beating a full strength nets to say the least. But it has 4 near-great players. It has a potential player that could jump. It has a microwave guy in Coby White and a dominant defensive guard. Now it's about finding the players around them to make them all shine. Having big, not that long term contracts is actually a benefit to getting a super star. So happy that we proved something that crushed me for years. The Nick Freidell-esque "who could bulls have got!?" which depended on the very literal use of salary cap and players. Where there is a will there is a way in the NBA up to a point. And now we need some luck and maximize the drafts and player development, and bide time until the next opportunity appears.

I'm very pumped but do get nervous now that we've shown we can get some upper level talent we've lost the resources to get elite talent if it becomes available. But maybe thats just in trade, maybe we can get a guy via S&T now. I'm not upset at all. I think you remember as soon as the 3 alphas came in I was not a believer in putting three ball dominant poor shooters on a team in the modern NBA. This team is versatile, especially with Ball and DD. PWill with offense should be. Ball, Vucevic and Lavine can shoot from deep, and crucially DeRozan can get to the line, which this team couldn't do. It's gone from trash to what I think is a really good team. But it's certainly nervewrecking if an injury or so and so happens when picks are living with other teams.

This is tough. Not gonna lie. It is a funny team, sort of a collection of guys that are better than given credit for but not the ideal superstar, all put on the same team. It's like the All "no I can't put them on All-NBA" team
