  1. A system with a dearth of pitching and just drafted Andrew Vaughn trades a young, good starter for two DHs and a pitcher coming off TJS with an ERA of 12. Cool cool cool coool.
  2. His speed is fine. If, through shifting or improvement, he gets closer to below average as a defender, he is a cost-controlled offensive outfielder with room to improve. But the market will show his worth soon enough.
  3. I gotcha.
  4. steeped in holy poverty?
  5. I'm excited for Hahn to provide a lot of interesting insight into the White Sox.

I actually tried to get a feel for the DSL roster and I already don't know half of them on any given day.
  7. No idea, but I think the difference between 15th and 35th on a draft board really isn't very significant, but especially this year. Why do some like THT? They see a switchable guard whose body could handle mismatches and would be a plus in the pick and roll nba. And he's young, so maybe he ends up developing his playmaking ability and you have a role player. Now, many would swap him with huichimara, and have THT in the 35ish range. He trades huichimaras production in college but worries his processing and sluggishness on D will get him eaten alive in pick and roll defense, negating his developed offense. The guys really from 11-35 are either productive college players that could get eaten alive in modern defense or a guy that accomplishes one specific thing and you roll the dice and hope he develops others. Do I think Ayo could have risen? I don't know, I think some would have him higher and some lower. Some love Jontay Porter, some would point him as undrafted. Depends what happens to a team in charge. I think Ayo would be a 2nd rounder, and more than likely THT will be a 2nd rounder.
  8. Passing. Length. Youth.
  9. good article from Jim on this: https://www.soxmachine.com/2019/06/16/the-white-sox-just-saw-what-an-opener-can-do/
  10. I'm just here for the eloy dingers. Will stay for the TA dingers.
  11. Yes, I think teams will value hitting an .850 OPS as a 24 year old and forgive his .715 ops as a 22 year old. He will get a good bit of value back.
  12. Danny Chau has him as 14 overall on the ringer and 17 overall for Jonathan Tjarks.
  13. Oh I didn't know it had minor league data
  14. Where are you getting these? BA?
  15. We talking about the same Wilson Contreras?

It is so annoying how few games milb works with now. I don’t understand why mlb farm updates so much better?

Rodriguez now 2-2, I think with a triple. Beard had a sac fly. AZL up 6-0

DJ Gladney And Osik with their first hits. Jose Rodriguez added a single and CS. Beard 0-1
  20. Well the AAA stats for starters are abysmal so he must be worst catcher of all time.
  21. I’ve seen basically everyone’s lists go all over and this site has done solid work in the past.
  22. Both Lavine and porter can be dumped as needed and likely get some value back.
  23. Last year when Frazier was struggling with concussion symptoms and couldn't return to the field? I appreciate someone putting forth a worse trade proposal than mine at least.
  24. I like him. I again am very nervous about trade ups. However, if all teams feel that way then trade ups may be cheaper than normal. But I don't know that I like the trade-off of (hypothetical) Lavine, 7th for Ball, 4th. Though, it is a bit closer as I put it through my head, I admit. If we get brogdon with the extra cash, and then maybe acquire Clint Capela...that'd be an interesting group.
