  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jun 16, 2005 -> 01:13 AM) Six of those 12 games of Paulie's streak were without Frank in the line up. Up until today for the last 3 games he was going to right field much more, I'm not sure if that was the case vs Colorado and the first two games against San Diego when I was out of town but that's something I've noticed about him. Pauly becomes such a dangerous hitter when he uses the whole field.
  2. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jun 16, 2005 -> 12:47 AM) ^That.^ My White Sox themed sigs have all been of the Hurt. That's cause you're boring
  3. I've never had a team come that close and then not get it done. As you guys know I'm not an Illini fan but that was a special team and season. The only thing from my perspective I can compare that to is the Sox in the 2000 playoffs and that was only the ALDS but I know that hurt big time for me.
  4. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 16, 2005 -> 12:02 AM) Crede and Konerko didn't help him either, except on offense of course. Very true.
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 11:42 PM) I agree. Let's hope this is only a bump in the road and not the beginning of a trend. I personally think the effect of Colorado took a toll on Freddy, Jose, and the Duke. Garland just didn't have much today even though that homerun to Clark was ridiculous.
  6. QUOTE(Ishmookie @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 11:41 PM) Ok i gotta jump in on this it was amazing! 10 FREAKING RUNS!!! I hope this is our year. Anyway we gotta keep going against the Dodgers. Let's go White Sox! Sell out the series! Just looking for tickets I can tell you it's going to be pretty fricken crowded on Friday and I'm sure Saturday and Sunday will be backed as well.
  7. Fantastic news. Gload adds so much to this team, great hitter, good speed, great defensive first baseman, he strengthens the bench 10 fold. Can't wait till he's back on the roster.
  8. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 11:28 PM) If Reed and Morse pan out, it's still a good trade. Olivo is a bust in my opinion. I agree and to think the person I was most upset about losing was Miggy. I agree with what BHAM said, I'll root for Miguel to get it back together unfortunately I just don't think it's going to happen.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 11:01 PM) Ain't isn't even a word. How could you spell it correctly? Actually, I'm pretty sure it is a word.
  10. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 10:24 PM) Losing three games is not the end of the world. The way we lost the first two games of this series was a serious concern to alot of people, as it should have been. It was ugly because they were back to back blowouts, however those 2 ended up making it 3 times we've been out of a game this year, it happens. Unfortunately we've had 4 bad starts in a row but that's what the ace is for to stop the bleeding the rotation, Mark's our guy, he'll get the rotation back on track.
  11. This thread should read "paybacks a mojo"
  12. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:23 PM) May I ask when there is a good time to go into a funk??? By the way the sox will win this game. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 07:24 PM) @ the optimist. We got rocked, plain and simple. Yup, we sure did Jabroni.
  13. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) Yup, two replaced hips and 88 years old. She runs a 4.5 - 40. But before the hip replacements wasn't she in the 4.2 range?
  14. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) Hermy? Or Politte still? Cliff.
  15. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) Kong hits a choppa.. thrown out on a hit that my gramma coulda made 1st on. Rumor has it that your grandma has some serious speed.
  16. The dreaded strikezone came back. Good thing it doesn't matter now.
  17. Cliff does his thing. Neal's era is getting close to that 2 mark.
  18. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) Farmer theorized that he was fighting the lights. That could be, didn't even think about that.
  19. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 08:17 PM) Talk to me in 3 and a half months. No problem. There's no way he's gonna be over 4 though, I'll guarantee you that.
  20. I want to see Shingo back in there even though he's pitched 2 games in a row. He looked so good yesterday I'd like to see him get right back out there before the offday.
  21. Whoops, there goes that perfect game. No biggy, he'll just strikeout Glaus.
