:puke This would be a flat out awful trade and I'm in the minority here and actually like Pods. The only way the sox should be talking with the brewers about carlos is if sheet is available. Most likely Ben won't be availabe so kenny should just move on to a different team.

That would be nice, I'd much rather give up Pauly too, however this is Randy Johnson. Just thinking of the possibilities of having Randy, Freddy, and Buehrle go the first 3 games of a playoffs series, wow . Getting Randy makes the sox a world series contender because of that rotation we'd be able to set up in the playoffs.

By the way that was Bob Nightingale(sp?) from sportsweekly. Everytime someone brought up rj he said he doesn't think he'll end up a yankee and that the sox are going to go back after him. He said it might take a contract extension from the White Sox to convince him to go there. Interesting to hear.

Compare Jacksons stats to Bmac's last year. I think it's safe to say that Edwin has a better arm but I think bmac has been more consistant so far in his minor league career.

Then they were talking about teams who can spend money and he said if the white sox get rj they could be an interesting team. Anyways, take it fwiw.

Fair enough, if he makes 4 million I wouldn't go after him either but I highly doubt he'd get a contract worth 4 mill per year but I could definitely be wrong about that.

Well, like I said if the sox can't find another pitcher out there I'd think he'd be a solid guy to have. I agree I'd love to get a top of the rotation guy but if we can't, wouldn't you like to have Washburn in the rotation over Grilli??
