Soxtalk was a bizarre family back in the day.
  3. If we get the Shield triple threat, the rest of the card could be blank and I'd be happy. No clue where they're going with anything yet. Is it going to be Brock-Rock or Rock-HHH? New Day-Enzo and Cass would be a ridiculously entertaining feud for the tag titles. I'd love to see Sasha-Bayley get a mania match even though I'm not sure how they top their last feud. Could do the IC ladder match again with KO and Neville and some of the NXT guys. Ya, I have no clue right now.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 27, 2015 -> 08:40 AM) Lucky for you all, I have no life right now. Just right now?!?
  5. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Oct 25, 2015 -> 09:00 PM) Shh don't tell that to the theo-lovers. Whoopdedoo they sucked on purpose from like 09-14. They did nothing "the right way". They spit in the face of the integrity of the game and didn't try to win, and even worse, signed guys just to flip them at the deadline. Cool. Meanwhile, we had badass teams on paper every one of those years minus maybe '14, and did what every other team which is honorable does, tried to f***ing win. And here we sit, amazingly, with a better young core than the cubs. Amazing. What?
  6. Del Rio is meh to me. In the Sheamus category of a very good worker but super boring. Taker-Brock was very good, closing angle I'm guessing is leading to Wyatts vs brothers of destruction and reigns/brose but I guess we'll see. I was thinking Rollins was going to get Reigns next but after the closing angle I have no clue where Seth goes from here.
  7. QUOTE (raBBit @ Oct 25, 2015 -> 11:35 AM) Were you still drunk from last night at this point? I wasn't actually. The quality is never going to be great but I love having the early starts.
  8. More London games! The early starts are the best.
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 25, 2015 -> 09:44 AM) They have people on ESPN predicting the Final 4 and a lady this morning had both MSU and OSU in it. Is that even possible? I'm expecting OSU to run the table and roll over the overrated SPartans. Would MSU sneak in with 1 loss over other teams? Highly doubtful.
  10. Rodon does nothing better than Sale. The guy has a chance to be great but his ceiling isn't higher than Chris'
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 22, 2015 -> 09:04 PM) 100+ post hatin ass Cubs thread ridiculing random Cubs free blog post ridiculing sox fans ridiculing Cubs fans infinite loop world ends This might be the best post of all time.
  12. They actually debuted Breeze pretty perfectly. Hopefully they don't f*** him up too quick.
  13. The word choke is just silly to me. So basically you guys are telling me that they were just fine in a do or die game, were able to take on their arch nemesis but then all the sudden the NLCS was too big of a moment for them? That just seems ridiculous to me. I can buy the fact that they possibly started to play a little bit tighter when they got down 0-2 but the Mets were just a better team just as the Cubs were just better than whatever the hell the Cardinals were throwing out there.
  14. Did the Cubs really choke? The Mets were just better. You can be disappointed that your season came to an end and be damn proud of what they accomplished as well and I think Cubs fans have that right.
  15. The Mets are just a completely different team than they were for the first half of the season, so many additions and players coming back from injury. That said, so are the Cubs but the Mets are just better at the moment.
  16. Schwarber has also played like 2 months in the outfield, it's way too early to write him off out there. EDIT: I'm sure he'll never be great out there but there's certainly a chance he can be serviceable.
  17. Baseball is a funny game so this series is far from over. That said, I think the Mets are just a bit better.
  18. Amazing how people just forget to cover the bag sometimes.
  19. That was a neat catch.
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 17, 2015 -> 08:31 PM) Goins pretty much cost the Jays that game. Price was untouchable up until that error they called a hit. I think that play is more on Joey bats. That's a much easier play for the right fielder, he should have called him off.
  21. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 18, 2015 -> 10:46 AM) Bet the house? Soxtalk has lost enough houses lately so I'm not going to go there. Arrieta has looked human his last 2 starts and he'll keep coming back to earth in my opinion. His absurd domination is over I believe.
  22. Arrieta is going to get hit today as well, the Cubs really needed that game yesterday imo.
  23. A few months back my boss made me fire someone who didn't deserve to be fired. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
  24. That targeting call on UM was one of the worst calls you'll ever see.
