  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 12:20 PM) Their matches are very good, I agree very much on that point. Its just their character push that i think was left hanging. And thats why we are gonna see them break up so quickly. It will be interesting to see how it happens though. I dont see any of them having babyface qualities that would make one of them break off. It will probably be a "accidental" spear on one of them that causes a loss Ya, the errant spear is the easiest way to at least start the break up. Reigns goes face, Ambrose stays heel and I can see Rollins going either way.
  2. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 04:03 PM) What? I'll have what you're having Steve. He absolutely lost games single handedly. Because of the roster situation last year, he was definitely more of an asset than I thought he could ever be but he still had his moments where he killed the team.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 11:40 AM) I actually dont mind the Shield breaking up. Their collective push never amounted to anything but them being hired bullies. The WWE wants another Outsiders/NWO but they never allow it to run its course. The Shield showed up and almost immediately they were Heymans paid lackeys, so their "We want to punish the system" mantra never worked out for them. Now they are just HHH's lackeys. If they wanted to be the NWO, then they needed to have their own motives and run with them. Their storyline hasn't been the strongest at times but outside of a few clunkers between Ambrose and Kane every match they've been in has been great. When they're in matches together, they've all been fantastic. They basically steal the show at every ppv.
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 11:43 AM) I'd be perfectly happy with Randle or Wiggins as well. Plus, guys like Smart and Exum would be pretty solid as well. There are a lot of of good options in this draft. Obviously you're not passing up Randle if certain guys are gone, it'd be interesting to see how he'd fit in though. Would we wait this long for Mirotic and then trade him for another piece?
  5. It doesn't need to be Jabari(I'm still taking Wiggins if I get the 1 pick) but if you can get into the top 5 of this years draft, you're getting a stud and a piece that could raise this franchise to the next level. Whoever brought up the Spurs from years back brought up a perfect example, if this organization is smart enough to tank. Once again though, I don't think they're smart enough to do it. f***in tank god damn it!
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 11:38 AM) He's Kobe. He owns LA. It'a a good deal if Kobe is still Kobe. If he comes back lookin' like Wizards MJ, yikes. I'd never bet against Kobe when it comes to something like this.

QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 09:44 AM) So did anyone watch Family Guy last night? I didn’t see the episode but they spoiler’d it on the radio this morning. I just read about it, interesting decision...
  8. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 11:06 AM) Give him a team that's 8-10 deep like the Nuggets were last year and see how far he can go. He had that the year we lost to the Heat in the ECF. It sucks though, he's the last guy now that I want leading the team this season but the first guy I want leading the team going forward. Sigh.
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 25, 2013 -> 07:01 AM) I'm on board with Roman Reigns. Push him. I like him and Rollins in ring. Ambrose bores the crap outta me. Reigns can be a better version of Batista. I'm sure E will screw it up. Is book him to win Rumble and title at XXX as next big star. Seriously. Reigns is definitely a star in the making, he does need to get better on the mic though. I hope they don't rush his push, build him up and let him get better on the stick before you make him the guy cause I do think he's your future face of the company, he has that much upside. With that said, it does kind of suck that the shield break up is coming soon. It obviously has to happen at some point but every match they're in is awesome.
  10. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 10:52 PM) You love Boston, I knew it Ha check the fantasy thread. I needed every yard.
  11. Today was the complete opposite of the rest of my season, Brady won me a game and I won a squeaker by .8. Still need an absolute miracle to make the playoffs but I'm not mathematically dead yet and will hold a tiebreaker as well.
  12. If the Broncos score a td here I'm gonna punch Beli in the face.
  13. QUOTE (scs787 @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 09:55 PM) Somehow forgot the PPV was today, stumbled in for the last 2 matches. The tag match was great, and the main event was garbage, as expected. I do like the potential title unification though. Anything noteworthy happen before those 2 matches? The survivor series match was fun and Henry returned.
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 09:42 PM) Another PPV ending with HHH showing his face again was old last 99 times. What lazy lazy booking! And Cena back in the main story, yuck. Bryan/Punk-Wyatt's was great though.
  15. That was just a brutal call, anyway you look at it. Live it looked rough but very clean, just awful. On a side note Forte has been about a million times better than Bush in short yardage situations this year.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 06:53 AM) Same one. Katy's not going anywhere. Saw the rerun of the HIMYM with her in it the other day. Wow.
  17. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 04:22 AM) This is who I blame for this.. damn them. He was my Facebook picture, it's my fault.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 12:25 PM) It's 10:30 a.m. on a saturday. Ya fair point. This is messing with my mind, didn't even think about the time difference.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 12:26 PM) Where did u read that about him saying it was the same? Ya I haven't seen that part either.
  20. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 12:24 PM) Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 1m Chicago star Derrick Rose is still a couple of hours away from getting the MRI on his right knee in Los Angeles. (1 minute ago) Beat me to it.
  21. And right when I ask that Adrian Wojnarowski says we still got a few hrs until he gets the MRI done in LA.
  22. When the hell is this MRI? I got a feeling the Bulls know it's a torn acl and are just working on a way to release the results if that makes sense.
  23. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 01:13 AM) I was going to write this odd introspective post about 15k posts, 11 years and all of the strange ideas that go on in my head and give real insight into the person behind the screen. Then I read about Rose and I seriously got sad. So I know it wont mean anything, because I dont really believe in anything, but I just want Rose to be okay. Its been a long strange trip and I do appreciate all of you who have interacted with me over the last decade. I am sorry if my online personality can be standoffish. Wow, you've been here longer than me? Didn't think there were too many of you!
  24. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 01:03 AM) I don't know how Rose will take this psychology. He didn't even get to play a quarter of a season and he tears his other ACL?? What are the chances. That would kill me emotionally You either crawl into a ball and die or you fight back harder than ever.
  25. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 12:40 AM) There is somebody who knows. The trainer on site is the best diagnostic tool for the ACL. They can manipulate the knee in such a way that there is little doubt. In my experience, trainers miss the diagnosis less often than MRI (swelling is often a confounding factor in both cases, but moreso with MRI since trainers can examine the player before the swelling sets in) Will Carroll tweeted that the early tests are showing torn acl, MRI to confirm. And then we all weep together.
