And for those of you saying that the best Gronk could do is break up the play, if the receiver can touch the ball I'd say that makes it "catchable" whether he's likely to catch it or not.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 19, 2013 -> 10:21 AM) I want to say I told you so, but jesus dude, it's 10 games. Quit jumping to conclusions. Ya, I don't think they're that great but it's going to take them a bit to fit all their pieces together. They'll be much better by the end of the season.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 18, 2013 -> 03:39 PM) I know there's still a store open across from the Daley Center in the temple building. I just wonder how much this stuff really appreciates in value over time. I'll probably just throw it in a safe and give it to my kid(s) one day. There's still a store in Hawthorn mall if you're near the North suburbs as well.

2013-2014 NFL Thread
QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Nov 18, 2013 -> 11:08 PM) It was the right call as the ball was under thrown. The defender contacted Gronk but did not impede his path to the ball. It was essentially uncatchable which is why they came together and waved it off. It was a bad pass and brady was fishing for a call. Also the 13% trestman was talking about stands throughout the whole series. In the end the odds are they will not score there. The bend but don't break philosophy. Um he absolutely impeded his path to the ball.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 18, 2013 -> 10:53 PM) I mean it probably gets picked anyways, but who knows for sure? Maybe he whacks the defender as he tries to catch it and it goes flying into the air or something? It's just silly to allow the refs to make a judgment call when an infraction occurs. They need to change that rule. Ya I don't think he would have caught it but it was definitely "catchable."

If he doesn't get pushed back it's very catchable, that's definitely interference.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 17, 2013 -> 12:06 AM) What a disgrace on the 20th anniversary show. Was a fan since 1994 when I got UFC 4 on tape. My first even I ordered was Ultimate Ultimate 95. I dont think I can watch another event unless I'm out at a bar with friends. Maybe I'll see you in 2014 MMA... damn, I just read the last post I made in this thread on July 7th. I haven't seen the fight yet but you just can't leave it up to the judges ever. I love MMA and I love boxing and I'm certainly not saying it's right but there's always shady decisions in these sports. It sucks but it's how it is.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Nov 16, 2013 -> 09:00 PM) He killed Noah (who admittedly was coming off injury) this year. He may have turned the corner And has done nothing against Jo today. His stats this year are very similar to his career stats on the offensive end. He's a 10 to 12 point a game scorer, nothing special at all on the offensive side of things.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Nov 16, 2013 -> 08:55 PM) Did you watch the ECF last year? Yes he was able to beat up a tiny Miami team. When he's not playing the Heat he's an extremely average offensive player.

NBA Thread 2013-2014
QUOTE (Boogua @ Nov 16, 2013 -> 08:47 PM) They have much better depth than last year and were able to take Miami to 7 games. Hibbert is basically unstoppable when he's the focal point of the offense because of the lack of centers now. Indiana is likely just as good healthy (hill and Danny in the backcourt, with CJ and lance coming off the bench) as anybody. Scola was a huge get. George is taking the next step. This team is good. They're very good but Hibbert and unstoppable do not go together. He's not a very good offensive player.

Still odd to see Derrick miss layups, even when they're difficult ones. When he's right he finishes everything at the rim.
