White Sox sign Belisario, 1-year, $3 mill
Eh every fan base hates their middle of the road relievers because they're all frustrating. Sure I'd like to see Petricka and Webb get their shots but they're middle relievers, I'm not going to lose sleep over it if they have to spend a few months in the minors.

The Bryan stuff was an overreaction of the summerslam buy rates, that was Vince, I guarantee it. Agreed with the stuff critic wrote though. I have no idea what HHH has been responsible for but I do believe he's more in touch with the fans than the others. We'll see what happens.

I'll give him a chance. It was obviously annoying when he pulled strings as a performer but he's more in tune with what the fans want than the McMahon's.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 07:17 PM) Shoulders and arms was pretty easy but ab ripper was impossible. Had to stop a few times. When I did p90x all the sessions became so much easier for me as time went on except the ab ripper. That thing destroyed me all the way through.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 10:07 AM) I do miss the days of the jobber matches on TV with one or two "TV main events". You got to see the stars be dominant, you could build storylines through promos, backstage/outside-the-arena angles, and run-ins, and the payoff would be at whatever "Supercard" they were holding next. Giving away as much as they do on TV, I'm always surprised that anyone buys pay-per-views anymore. AJ and Ziggler both had awesome promos on Monday that for some reason were relegated to the app. It's stuff like that I don't understand.

Lobaton traded to Nats
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 02:48 PM) And a player they should be able to acquire for cheap, given Tampa already has 2 catchers on their MLB roster. Exactly. Nobody is going to be thrilled with a guy like Lobaton but it does make sense in the context of what Hahn is trying to do.

Lobaton traded to Nats
QUOTE (greg775 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 02:44 PM) Fathom, rebuilding with guys like Loboton?? Cmon. What he means is that it's about not spending unnecessary money in year 1 of the rebuild. If true it's a slight upgrade without getting your team stuck with a bad contract.

2013-2014 NFL Thread
QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 1, 2013 -> 07:14 PM) The reason he did it is because our line is so bad. Being in FG range meant Minnesota could stack the box as we go into obvious run mode. We almost always lose yards in those situations. Passing was out of the question as well, mainly because of how bad our line was playing. When you wonder why our yards and our points never correlate, it's because we can't execute on big downs because our line always lets us down in those situations That's just an awful excuse. Kicking a 47 yd fg on 2nd down is just a horrendous decision, no matter how you look at it.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 1, 2013 -> 10:26 AM) There are 7 Fast and Furious movies? Wow. I assumed the series died after that Tokyo drift nonsense They'll keep making them cause they keep making money. The 5th one was actually really good, haven't seen the 6th yet.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Dec 1, 2013 -> 09:09 AM) The workout thread seems to have disappeared, so I'll put this here. Any tips for a 4-day workout? I'm still at the beginner stage -- never worked out really before I started in February, and while I've put on muscle, I'm still probably smaller than your average dude. I've tried navigating the bodybuilding.com database, but I don't know enough to know what's good and what's not. I'm not training for anything specific, just want the general "build muscle." I also try to do 15 or so minutes of cardio before I start, but that's on the elliptical usually. I always recommend a 5x5 program for people starting out, read this: http://muscleoldschool.com/5x5-a-weight-tr...and-mass-gains/ Do compound lifts like Bench, Squats, Deadlifts, rows, etc, don't worry about isolation exercises like bicep curls. And most importantly, if you're trying to build muscle...eat.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 30, 2013 -> 07:06 PM) I totally called the result of that FG attempt. Unfortunately only my 4 y.o. daughter was in the room when I said it, so I have no verification. That was the dumbest coaching decision ever. An Auburn TD is a far more likely outcome on that play than an Alabama FG. I thought the fg was absolutely the right call.
