  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 5, 2013 -> 11:02 PM) Really obvious he was short. You guys are both being ridiculous.
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 5, 2013 -> 10:50 PM) The back angle where there is no depth perception? His knee was down and the. He was short. The 75 holding calls that were blown help nw anyway. Escaped and advanced. His knee was definitely not down and I think he did get the 1st but as you said no depth perception on that one angle so we have no idea. I'm still wondering how they don't have a camera on the other side of the field.
  3. How is there not a camera on the other side of the field?
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 5, 2013 -> 07:11 PM) The day I have my first child will not be as happy as tonight. Derrick Rose is back, he's inviting contact, and I am finally, finally f***ing at peace. Welcome back, Derrick. Bulls will be champs this year. Book it. Had to change my pants a few times in the first half! He's clearly rusty as hell as his ball handling is real off but the athleticism is there(and that's all that matters at the moment), had a few explosive plays in the first half.
  5. Taj and Stacey just broke the satellite...DAMN IT
  6. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 07:37 PM) This is all very personal. What works for you, or me, will not work for others in most cases. I work out at 11am, myself, and I find it great. Others, like your, prefer it earlier...the only thing I'd recommend against is really late night workouts...such as 8pm or later, unless it's the only time you can do it. Yup no doubt. Just a suggestion to switch it up if he's not getting the work outs he wants. I just started working out mornings 6 weeks ago and I've just been killing it. Works so much better for me.

    2013 TV Thread

How many seasons have there been of Homeland? I think I might pick that up this weekend before the Bulls/Hawks/NU trifecta tomorrow night.
  8. Rock when do you work out? The last 2 months, I've switched to working out in the morning before work and I've never had better work outs. Not saying that's for everybody but I just seem to have more energy that way.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 01:01 PM) sig bet For the rest of the season? Sure. I mean I'll do one for this week too because why not but as I said I don't think you can go wrong either way(though I like Brady a little bit better).
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 12:42 PM) Why on earth would you start Brady over Rivers, especially given those matchups (kind of a response to Rowand here). You ride Rivers. He's legitimately my 3rd ranked QB in the league this week with that matchup against Oakland (behind Manning against Dallas whom Rivers shredded last week and Rodgers against Detroit). Brady hasn't been very impressive at all this year. Rivers has been a monster and all of his statistics say it's for real. And he's f***ing playing Oakland. Cinci and Oakland are almost identical in pass defense this year so the matchup is basically moot. Brady also gets one of his weapons back and has progressively been getting better the last few weeks after a terrible week 2. Obviously Rivers has been better so far this season but I'll take Brady for the rest of the season, starting with this week.
  11. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 12:16 PM) No time to go grocery shopping, plus I'm regularly back and forth between two residences, which is annoying. It's something I need to make time for, no doubt. Get a jar of Peanut Butter, seriously.

  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 11:02 AM) I guess I view conference championship implicating game as more important than an early big ten matchup, even if on national tv. Of course, I'm also probably understating how awful NW football was in the past compared to where it is now (even though I don't think the "now" is anywhere close to where Greenberg and Wilbon think it is). Well besides the Rose Bowl year when have they really been in a conference championship implicating game? And sure this is early in the season but it could have some serious ramifications on the Big 10 Championship this year. As Rock said as well, this game can be huge as far as recruiting goes with the extra exposure. This is pretty huge for that program.
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 11:28 AM) Speaking of, I havent seen anything definitive on that yet. Obviously I'm no doctor but I almost think that he was hit right above the knee where it f***in kills for a few days but nothing that'll keep him out for a long period of time.
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 10:25 AM) Is Pead even worth a roster spot anymore? The rams coaches clearly don't think he's good. Probably not. Looks like Stacy might get the starting reps but it's kind of the like the Steelers were before Bell came back, it's a bad offense with a bunch of bad rb's in a committee, I'd stay away from all of them.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 10:13 AM) Brady at Cin or Rivers at Oak. I'd still go Brady but don't think you can go wrong with either. Hope I helped!
  17. QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 11:28 PM) If he gets cut(has this happened already?) I wouldn't be apposed. I wouldn't wanna give up a draft pick for him though. Also don't think the bears have the 8M or whatever he's owed this year to pay him. He got cut.
  18. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 12:05 AM) Who to start in FLEX? Roddy White Isaiah Pead Dwayne Bowe Justin Blackmon Bowe.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 09:45 AM) Am I the only one thinking NW is going a bit overboard about their game tomorrow? Wilbon was on ESPN this morning (Mike & Mike and GameDay are also in town) and he was saying this is one of the biggest games in program history. Rose Bowl game > annual Big Ten game against OSU in my book. You named one game. I'd say this is absolutely one of the biggest games in the program's history. On a side note, I apparently could have been able to meet the gameday crew tomorrow(which would have meant Samantha Ponder!!!!) if I wasn't stuck in Wisconsin.
  20. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 08:58 AM) Yea, this is much different, especially considering you know your body, have solid workout experience, and know your eating schedule, etc. A lot of people just down shakes regardless of timing, or even questioning why they're doing it, or if they even need to do it. They saw it on TV or something, so it must be what you have to do! Are you telling me those 15 minute ab commercials on tv aren't legit?!? Anywho, just finished my leg day, it's my least favorite thing in the world then it becomes my favorite thing in the world once I'm done with it.
  21. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 09:23 PM) So, I have an impressive collection of non-productive RB's in one of my leagues. I have to bench at least one of them (my only real flex option at WR is Michael Floyd). Ray Rice vs MIA Lamar Miller vs BAL Eddie Lacy vs DET David Wilson vs PHI The season so far would suggest Wilson is the guy to sit, but with a favorable matchup and Scott gone, he might finally produce. I'm kind of thinking Miller because his lack of touches despite decent production the last few weeks scares me. Damn man, you got the all bust team there. I think id still sit Wilson but good luck.
  22. QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 05:23 PM) I'm gonna get laughed at for this but it is what it is =/ Jay Cutler or Brian Hoyer? It sucks that you put yourself in this situation but that's not a bad question. I'd go Cutler this week though.
