Had the game in my hands today at Best Buy, just couldn't pull the trigger yet as I need some money for this weekend. Ugh.

After watching College Gamenight, I'm convinced that Jay Bilas should just pick the at large teams from now on.

At the end of the day, Bocot passed on bigger interests and pledged to the program that showed the most consistent commitment to recruiting him. “It was a lot (of big schools) but they really weren’t showing me interest earlier so I stayed away from them,” Bocot said. “I’ve been talking to (SIU) since my freshman year. They were interested then and still are.” Who wouldn’t be? Bocot averaged 21 points as a senior. He wreaked havoc on the AAU circuit in a bucket-making role with Ft. Sooy No Limit. Bocot, who indicated he’s doing well in core classes and is on target to qualify, may redshirt his first season regardless. “I think I’m going to sit out my first year and get bigger and stronger. I won’t lose any eligibility.” Given last year’s tournament success and the proceeding higher-profile this year for the Missouri Valley, more and more top notch prospects see the league as a viable option straight out of high school. “Some people go for the name on the jersey and don’t look into the program.
