Boers and Berstein
QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 06:14 PM) Good man, Silvy and Carmen are the best. Maybe its because I can relate with their off-beat cultural ramblings, but I find them the most entertaining out of all the shows. Ya, I just really like their show. They're entertaining but they also know their crap, they also don't just go off on people for no reason, and they don't overreact about everything that happens which seems to be the trademark with a lot of the shows in Chicago. Hey Tony, what the hell was that horrible show we listened to on the way back from Cinci?

Jim Parque attempting a comeback
I say we offer him 4 years, 40 million. Not sure if it'll be enough but that seems fair to me.

Boers and Berstein
I've said this before but the only show I really like in Chicago is Silvy and Carmen. At times I can tolerate M, J and H but at other times they really annoy me. Every other show I hate, including B and B.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 01:24 PM) what killer talent is going to save this falling illini ship??? You don't always need killer talent to get yourself out of a slump. This Illinois team has had to deal with a lot to key players already this season. The McBride dui, and the Randle/Jamar injuries. I'd bet in another week or two Illinois will look much, much better.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 12:35 AM) I said a few weeks ago that Illinois would not make the tourney. The piss poor recruiting is catching up. Self's boys are gone. Illinois will be in the tournament.

QUOTE(Fotop @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:19 PM) So if you're an LSU fan, you're going to discredit your own great victory by saying you beat a "lesser" opponent? Because that's exactly what you're doing by saying your opponent is overrated. It's rather simple logic, actually. Completely agree, I absolutely f***in hate the overrated chant.

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 12:12 AM) Our schools already fought about it and I came out on top. Nuff' said. Ok, that was a low blow.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 10:58 PM) Yeah, how much longer do you have to keep that sig? We want Shaw and Mullins!! A long freakin time, unfortunately. That sig does rock though, it will be revealed in due time. EDIT: Brian, have you ever seen the arena that packed before? That was easily the most people I've ever seen there in my time, it was pretty awesome.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 09:11 PM) Salukis knock off Witchita State by 5. SIU may have played their best all around game of the night. Shockers lose 4 in a row. Very similar to the WKU game from earlier in the year to be honest, get off to a big lead and just kind of coast in the 2nd half and hold on. Good win for us, definitely not a bad loss for WSU but that loss to UNI at home is a killer, just cause you can't lose at home. The 0-2 start is a very tough hole already because the Valley is so deep this year that it's going to be hard to sustain success over a period of several games. I never thought(still don't) that WSU was the best team in the Valley or even in the top 2-3, but they're a good team and they'll have their say in this race, no doubt.

Nice choke job by Denver there. Gotta chance to make the playoffs at home against the Niners and you lose? Ouch. Anyone else think the Colts are in real trouble next week?

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Dec 31, 2006 -> 01:03 AM) You could play a girls high school team and you'd call it a dangerous game. And then you'd probly call the upset. You so funny, expect a nice text message early tomorrow as we're starting our party before the Bears game. Anywho, back to college bball...obviously it's the first game but that was a big L for Wichita State tonight, you just can't lose at home in this conference. They'll definitely be fired up for the game in Carbondale on Monday, we gotta protect our court.
