QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 7, 2007 -> 05:37 PM) Now I gotta go to a friend's house Wednesday night because cable doesn't have ESPNU down here. It shouldn't have to be this hard. I really despise espnu. We have a good amount of games on espnu and we can't even get it if we wanted here at home. Thankfully I do get it at school, otherwise I'd go insane. -
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Dec 10, 2006 -> 06:57 PM) It's going to be funny when the Cowboys lose their first playoff game this year. Sorry dabs. Just thought you guys were overrated all along. Anyways, I'm looking forward to the Chargers/Pats next week.

IU kicking MSU's ass. I've become convinced in recent weeks that IU is the 3rd best team in the big 10. -
We are Marshall is absolutely fantastic.

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 02:37 AM) Wow, and it had nothing to do with hair/haircut. Hahaha. Well I did play bball a few days ago, for the first time since I got it cut, it's amazing how much easier it is to play when you can actually see the court.

Back in my bowling days(I was real good when I was 10-11, seriously) I had 5 strikes in a row to start a game in league play, my friends told a few people and all the sudden a bunch of people were surrounding our lane. My next shot, I hit my knee as I was throwing the ball and there went that game, ended up a 222. Too much pressure for the 10 year old Rowand.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 01:18 AM) The Big 12 has been bad lately. To be fair, all 3 of those wins have been over a crappy ISU team. Iowa State is probably the 11th best team in the Big 12. Ask Jay Bilas, those wins aren't monumental. Big 12 teams aren't to lose to Valley teams. That's what I believe. Never said it was monumental but still, the Valley has an over .500 record against the so called power conferences, what does that say? -

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 12:44 AM) LOL We have a goal to win Big 12 championships and make in to the Final Four....a goal that is attainable at Iowa State. We want to be a high major.....and in doing so we can't lose to mid-majors. I hate to be "that guy", but all three ISU losses to Valley teams this year are unacceptable. Well sir, that so called mid major had the exact same record as the big 12 in last years ncaa tournament. This season the Valley so far is 2nd in the Conference rpi where the Big 12 is 6th. The Valley is over .500 against the bcs conferences, the big 12 is not. And the Valley is 3-3 against your big 12 this year. You can call the Valley whatever you please but it certainly isn't acting like a mid major on the basketball court. -

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 12:26 AM) I hate the Valley, but I don't mind the George Mason's of the world. I view ISU as a high-major basketball program that is not to lose to mid-majors. 0-3 will do that to you. -
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 12:17 AM) It is very good. Another one of those 'put life in perspective' movies, for sure. It is well done, i would definitely say go see it to anyone who hasn't. You must get on aim.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 11:40 PM) Funny you should say that. I've been in Cali. for a few months now and all the pizza out here absolutely blows. So, friends of ours sent us three frozen Lou Malnati's pizzas for X-Mas. About an hour ago I threw one in the oven and kinda burned the crust and it was STILL a million times better than all the crap we've had out here. Ha, we actually sent some relatives some in Florida a few weeks ago. I absolutely love Lou's, it's easily my favorite meal in the world and I just can't have it when I'm at school. So when I'm home for break, I have it a ton.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 10:26 PM) Top 25 teams don't lose to both UNI and Drake. I was just gonna say Drake, but the last time before this year State lost to Drake, they only lost 5 games that year. Guess the Valley is going to have to beat up on Iowa State even more for Heads to respect 'em. -

Heart attack city here. We were tied with 21 seconds left and ended up winning by 5. Didn't play very well but a road win no matter what is huge. Now we're at UNI on Saturday, we're the only two undefeateds left in the valley, should be fun. -

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) Everything's a trap game And we're down 6 at half. We look like complete s***. Lazy on both ends of the floor, just awful. We better wake the f*** up or UNI is going to be the only remaining unbeaten in the Valley. -

QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 06:14 PM) Good man, Silvy and Carmen are the best. Maybe its because I can relate with their off-beat cultural ramblings, but I find them the most entertaining out of all the shows. Ya, I just really like their show. They're entertaining but they also know their crap, they also don't just go off on people for no reason, and they don't overreact about everything that happens which seems to be the trademark with a lot of the shows in Chicago. Hey Tony, what the hell was that horrible show we listened to on the way back from Cinci?
-
I say we offer him 4 years, 40 million. Not sure if it'll be enough but that seems fair to me.
-
I've said this before but the only show I really like in Chicago is Silvy and Carmen. At times I can tolerate M, J and H but at other times they really annoy me. Every other show I hate, including B and B.
-
God I love Lou Malnati's.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 01:24 PM) what killer talent is going to save this falling illini ship??? You don't always need killer talent to get yourself out of a slump. This Illinois team has had to deal with a lot to key players already this season. The McBride dui, and the Randle/Jamar injuries. I'd bet in another week or two Illinois will look much, much better. -

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 12:35 AM) I said a few weeks ago that Illinois would not make the tourney. The piss poor recruiting is catching up. Self's boys are gone. Illinois will be in the tournament.
