2007 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 05:54 PM) Agreed Double Agree Triple Agree I think Major League Baseball hates the fans, really there's no other explanation. They take away the best baseball video game franchise and now they want to make it impossible for a good portion of their fans to subscribe to Extra Innings. I'm not getting a f***ing dish just for the baseball package, f*** that. We're not even allowed to get a dish at the place I'm living in next year. I was honestly so f***in excited that I was finally going to be able to watch Sox games down here and now this . f*** you MLB, f*** you.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 05:43 PM) Son of a b****, there's nothing I hate more than when my sports world is brought to a screeching halt due to some f***ing exclusive rights contract. WTF, ok I'm f***in pissed now. I was going to get that package next year down at school, wtfffffffff. That's is f***in ridiculous. f*** you MLB.

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 04:31 PM) Went the past three years, but due to the fact that they raised the prices, not going this year. Yup.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 12:20 PM) that is not updated, ku lost and should be way out of the top 10, those vile pieces of lard. Uh ya, my bad. Usually when you go to espn.com and the rankings they'll just be blank on monday if they weren't updated yet. I didnt even look at who was where, I just posted that. Whoops.

BEARS in THE SUPERBOWL!
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 12:18 AM) Mark Anderson is fun, but a Tillman jersey would be tight. And maybe I'm just kind of goofy, but I would just have it say 'Peanut'. You are goofy.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 21, 2007 -> 11:52 PM) Go figure. Evansville loses to Missouri State by 54 points 13 days ago and turns around and beats them by 7 today. Speaking of not figuring things out, can someone that has ESPN Insider post the following? http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index...ame%3dkatz_andy]Hard to decipher MVC[/url] This is seriously one of the stranger/more fun conferences of all time. It's getting to the point where you almost need to favor every home team(this is a bit of an exaggeration but not much of one), it's that big of an advantage in this conference. I got bored last night and kind of analyzed and looked over the schedules left in the Valley and I like where my Dawgs stand at the moment. We only have 3 road games left in conference play which is the least amount in the Valley while on the other hand UNI has 6 road games left. All that being said, this league is just completely unpredictable. I think we are the best team in the conference but absolutely anything is possible.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jan 21, 2007 -> 11:31 PM) That said, kudos to the Colts, and damn -- this is going to be two LONG weeks... A two week break for a championship game would seriously drive me insane if it were one of my teams.

BEARS in THE SUPERBOWL!
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 21, 2007 -> 11:25 PM) Makes sense seeing as how that's the only jersey I own and I am heroic in many ways. #4 MAYNARD, I got it for my 19th birthday from my brother. Now that he's officially the sexiest man on the Bears I do expect the jersey to go up in value. I'll take a picture of it tonight. Well my comments took an unexpected turn.

BEARS in THE SUPERBOWL!
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 21, 2007 -> 11:18 PM) Did you kick him in the nuts? If not, you really should have. Speaking of the bearded wonder he looked incredibly puffy on the sideline today, I fully expected to see a bottle of Jack strapped to his hand but the camera never showed that angle. Never. I'm still waiting to see someone with a Brad Maynard jersey, that guy will be my hero.

BTW, at the bar I was at today for the game, there was a guy with a Kyle Orton jersey.

Wow. We just played an absolute nail biter in Omaha. Mullins hit a game winner with 4.1 left and Nate Funk had a banker go in and out as time expired. Absolutely insane game and now we've put ourselves back in real good shape in the conference. Wow, I'm dying here.

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 20, 2007 -> 05:15 PM) Wasn't really about being suprised, it was about the fact that they made the journey in the ridiculous snow we have right now in Lubbock. Very big win in achieving their hopes of making the tourney, 14-5 with some really tough games coming up. Ya, I understand. I'm not a fan of rushing the court normally but that one is one I can understand. I'm definitely not surprised you guys won that game though, not at all.

Arkansas destroys LSU, team Jimbo down 10 to TTech with 4 remaining. Nice win for IU. UCONN has no where near a tournament resume at this point.
