  1. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 21, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) I'd give Row the cojones to man up and say hi to Gage. lol ya, you're the one who wanted to talk to gage and you wanted me to text him, explain that one?
  2. I'd give Konerko some hair, Pods a bat, Crede a new agent and Buehrle a nice pen to sign a new contract.
  3. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Dec 21, 2006 -> 01:19 PM) Duke takes on Gonzaga tonight. Ravio should make Paulus look like a fool tonight. How is that Duke does not go on the road until Jan 10th?? I dont count MSG as a road game, since its like their second home. A lot of the big time schools schedule like that, it's ridiculous.
  4. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 08:09 PM) I really don't care for midmajors. That is all. Then why do you keep following Iowa State?
  5. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 07:45 PM) Does he have a name? Nope. Josh Bone. Dawgs up 33-18 at half against a real bad Central Michigan team. Just good to see that there is no hang over effect from Sunday.
  6. Our sharpshooting freshman is back from injury today to the surprise of everyone. It was a big debate on whether he was going to redshirt or not but yay he's back and it could be a huge addition, considering our O against a zone, having a shooter out there is huge.

    QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) Does he finally die? My friend wrote a version of rocky 6 and he died 10 minutes into the film...that's the movie everyone wants to see. Gets hit by a bus in the opening scene, it was the strangest thing.

    Just got back from Rocky. I liked it cause I like all of them but it wasn't great. 4th or 5th best of the series imo.
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 11:03 AM) Unless we are talking about Carl Crawford or Vernon Wells or a legit super star outfielder in which case I'd consider it (as long as the Sox had plans to find another starting pitcher via trade). As long as it's not Brandon.
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 11:01 AM) I wouldn't trade any of our starters straight up for Rios. It would be assinine....starting pitching >>>> outfielder. ^^^
  11. Too damn good out of the pen. Absolutely no reason to make him a starter.

    Final Exam Help

    QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 09:19 AM) Same here, I was wondering why we still had this pinned. I kicked ass this semester though; it was my best in college. I did ok. Not my best semester but I actually did better than I thought, so I'm not going to complain.
  13. QUOTE(Brian @ Dec 20, 2006 -> 10:45 AM) Yes! It is a 90 minute drive from my aunts than coming back right after the game. At least I am guaranteed cheerleades to look at while the Salukis destroy the Chippewas or whatever Central Michigan is. There's about one good looking cheerleader this year, rather disappointing. Anyways, have a good time and bring home a W.
  14. It's seriously hell to sleep at my dads house. I keep my room at school very cold when I go to bed cause I need a cold room to sleep and my room here at my dads is just brutally warm cause he keeps the house so freakin hot.

  17. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 19, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) but I really like your sig. Poo on you.
  18. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 19, 2006 -> 02:41 PM) Details brother. We need details! For Andre Miller, Joe Smith and 2 first round draft picks.

  20. Finally got this damn thing for Hanukkah today(for some reason it was the one thing from 05 that I didn't own). Watching game 2 now.
  21. QUOTE(danman31 @ Dec 19, 2006 -> 01:16 AM) The problem with that argument is it means more for a team like SIU to beat Missouri State or Wichita State when those teams have quality wins, better resumes, and more respect. At the end of the year when everyone is looking at tournament resumes, Valley teams will have better SOSs because several of the individual teams have quality wins. Bingo. Bilas is just wrong here, every big ooc win the Valley has, has an effect on the rest of the Valley. Thing is, as far as the Valley goes it's more important than other conferences cause the conference as a whole is trying to prove that it can play with the big boys. All of these big ooc wins by any member of the Valley are huge for the whole conference come selection sunday. The Valley is trying to prove that it's a 4-5 bid league and if Missouri State was in one of the big 6 conferences last year, they make the tournament and probably with out a problem. They had a rpi of 21 and 4 wins against the top 50, that was by far the highest rpi to ever be left out of the tournament. But because the committee was well confused on how good the Valley was they got left out. Now, I couldn't care less about the rest of the teams in the Valley to be honest, I would not care if Northern Iowa or Creighton get left out this year. But if Wichita State didn't beat 'Cuse and LSU, and if Mo State didn't beat Wisconsin, then when we beat those teams it wont be as big of a deal. Basically to sum all that up, the more big ooc wins the Valley get, are big for SIU as well cause when we beat those teams it'll help our computer numbers, top 50 wins, etc. If those teams didn't get those huge wins then a conference like the Valley wont have the same respect as it's gained and all the sudden SIU'S tournament chances/seeding would be a whole lot worse.
  22. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 18, 2006 -> 01:27 PM) I've had Jimmy John's once and was pretty impressed. Best. Sandwich. Ever.
  23. Was a long ass day for me yesterday and it ended up being a s***ty one. Everything this team did to progress on offense the last few weeks just went out the window last night, it was brutal. Not sure what the hell happened to Shaw last night but he was absolutely horrific after being pretty damn awesome since the Arkansas game. Tony Young continues to be bad this season offensively and I was positive he was going to break out of it but I'm starting to have my doubts. As far as Tatum, he was great in the first half and he was absolutely terrible in the 2nd half. I like how Lowery pulled him in the last few minutes of the game to make a point, god he was horrible. As far as Lowery, I don't ever want to see Falker, Shaw, Tatum and Young on the bench at the same time ever again, who the hell pulls your 4 top scorers out of the game at the same time when you have trouble scoring as is? And last and most important for this team, we got to stop turning the damn ball over. Nobody wants the ball at the top of the key for this team, everyone calls for Tatum to get the ball from them, something needs to be done about this. Also, we've had these refs a few times now and god they're brutal. Both SIU and IU are physical teams, let them play god damn it. You don't need to call touch fouls at the top of the damn key every time it happens. It ruins the freaking flow of the game. Becomes a whole new game when both teams are in the damn bonus half way through the 2nd half. Anyways, IU definitely deserved to win this game, they were the better team last night. We got some work to do obviously but we'll be ok, hopefully Josh Bone doesn't redshirt, it'd be great to have a legit sharpshooter out there, every now and then. Greasy, you can change my sig whenever you want with whatever you want to put up there.
