There honestly needs to be more to this. Gio and Floyd are both attractive pitchers(yes Floyd still has value) and I'm thinking/hoping that Gio gets traded in another deal to get something back with Floyd then rounding out our pen for this year. The problem I really have is I wanted to get some top young arms back and I'm just not that high on Gio. Definitely not happy about this. Hopefully there is more to this. For the time being, Kenny has lost my trust. EDIT: I kind of regret putting that last line in there. I'm not thrilled about what we got back obviously, but I still trust Kenny to make this team a contender, every year.

LSU takes down A&M by 12. Now that win at LSU looks even better for the Shockers which will look better for SIU when we beat WSU.

A couple of other games to note: Purdue continues to impress, they beat a real good Loyola team quite easily. And UIC absolutely blew out NIU, I was very surprised to see that.

Ok State takes down Cuse and UNI played one of the worst 35 minutes of basketball you'll ever see and ended up beating Iowa.

Hawkeyes up 10 on UNI at the half in one of the worst played halves I think I've seen this year.

That alone is worth a contract. It took Freddy 5 months to make adjustments and I still don't trust him at all. He had like 3 or 4 starts in September that saved his season from looking like a total disaster. Mark absolutely stunk the 2nd half of last season but I see no reason why he wont bounce back. He's easily the better long term commitment imo.
