Since my name has come up in this thread I will say this: #1. ID is a complete waist it is so bad that many of the pastors that I know do not support it. #2. Alabama does not place asterisks in text books, that was a stupid plan by Governor James in 1998 who came up to a school board meeting a dressed up like a monkey and made himself look like a fool. James was defeated that year and no longer are text books marked. Now some Private Christian Schools that is a different story. #3. Yes I have been targeted for my beliefs but those are by the far right wing extremists. Minors you make the south sound like this terrible place and I will tell you it just isn't true just a few extremists that give the south a bad name.

I can shed some light into this: According to the Alabama Criminal Code 13A which is the same as all of the other 49 states. The act of Terrorism occurs when a person by violence tries to induce public policy or coerce a group of citizens. Here is the actual wording: An indictment for the crime of terrorism shall charge the defendant with a specified offense and shall state that the defendant acted with intent to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, influence the policy of a unit of government by intimidation or coercion, or affect the conduct of a unit of government by murder, assassination, or kidnapping.

I also will add it is the same with Truman when he left office in '53 he had an approval rating of 27% and people were saying he was the worst pres of all time, because of him firing McArthur who people thought walked on water. Yet now he is a top 7 president

I myself got some of their histories mixed up in an earlier thread, but they are two different presidents. Andrew Jackson is about the most hateful man to hold the office. I also got caught in that and yes they are very different for me it was a tough call I do think he is by far the most over rated president he has always been top 10 in all history books which I can not see why.
