If you were drinking casually and were on your 4th or 5th beer (or 3rd if you drink less) you wouldn't notice a switch. Could you tell if I put two different beers in front of you? Probably so. Hell, you can tell Anheiser Busch products next to another because they are lighter in color. But if you are having a good time with friends, had a few, listening to music or whatever, and someone snuck in a cold draft of something different (as long as it was a similar domestic), you wouldn't know. Just trust me.

Its funny........ everyone of you say you can tell. Everyone of the guys I ever switched on drinks way more than any of you (I hope) and extremely loyal, yet not one ever caught the switch.

Rex sorry to say, I could be stumbling drunk and be able to tell the difference among those beers. Believe me....... Yeah yeah yeah...... every one of those guys said the same too. If someone handed you a Bud Light rather than a Coors light (draft) after you had 4 or 5 beers, you'd never know.

BS, they are the same..... Go out, drink 2-3 beers and then let's do a blind taste test for draft beer. I used to bartend and used to sneak different beers in on guys when a keg would go dry and they never knew. Hell, they drank the same kind of beer every day for 3-4 hours and still didn't know. I am talking about your basic domestic lagers, now......

If it is iced cold and has beer on the label, how the hell would I know? LOL

They're all the damned same..... Pour them out of a tap into a cold glass and they are just delicious pee colored beverages.

so before home run started to expand, there was only one home run inn pizza place in town and that was on 31 and off kostner. lady, remember i used to live in chi and roam a lot in what i still consider my home town. lol i know you USED TO LIVE HERE.... used being the key word... alot has changed...........home run inn was once the best in town.. not so anymore........along with alot of other things that have either gone away or expanded to the burbs and now suck..........hell even al's beef isnt the same as it used to be...........and at one time they were the best........good thing you still have family up here huh.. i know each time i head south to see my dad i have to load up the trunk with a bunch of stuff.........it drives me nuts smelling that stuff for 12 hours..........dont even ask about flying down and taking a bunch of stuff.. i carried on a whole bunch of food one time and the bread alone didnt make the trip down.......the kids and i couldnt take it anymore and had a snack ......lol........ Get ya plenty of Dreamland when down here??

btw you are right about the pizza down here. dominos is the best with pizza hut. my family just came in from chi and brought me a care package, i have beef sandwiches from cursoe, gyro's from kings and queens, 5 family size pizza from falcos and home run inn, fresh kobashi from 22 nd and in bewyn, fresh pavalone cheese from freddy's and of course some fresh italian suasage. No Old Style??

Not everybody can be smart. Some you just have to let learn on their own or grow up ignorant. LOL Kinda like you had to do with me Rex with some of my posts. You're coming along ;-) Just remember that if you teach everyone, then some of them end up smarter than you.

good and i am all for it. i don't want him to fail, we need him. but in ref to his hitting, that is what i am looking at. can he develop any more, when does one not become a prospect but a failed draft pick. Yes, he definitely can and will improve with the bat. A guy becomes a failed prospect when he reaches the Bigs and doesn't live up to expectations or when he runs out of options and is lost to another team.

It's way too early to think he won't improve. Whether he becomes what everyone expected or not is another story, but some guys just take longer to develop.

I'll add that I am not a big fan of Geno's East. The crust has some kind of cornmeal or something in it that I don't like. Hell, I can get better "Chicago style" pizza here in Birmingham than Geno's. I have been to either Uno or Due, just can't remember which. I also thought Giordanno's was good.

Uno and Due are related correct? is Pizzeria Uno the same one that is a chain in many other cities?

So HSC, if budget were not an issue what would be 3 restaurants in Chicago that are musts? What about on a medium budget? What is your favorite pizza place? Think downtown here, not out in the burbs...

Crowd looked decent enough to me. The Futures Game has never sold out, as far as I know. This was my 3rd one. Crowd seemed bigger then last years, IMO. And those that were there were into it. The Celeb game was fun, too. Some really funny moments with Bo. Standing O's to most of the players. Classy crowd there. I'm sure tomorrow there will be some assholes booing. dont have to worry about assholes being there steff.. they cant afford to go....... MLB sure rakes it in, don't they?
