Crede on Block?
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 11:09 AM) Personally, i'm just amazed at how rapidly Joe went from having an amazing and functional swing in the first few weeks of the season back to flying open and swinging for the fences every time he's up. Good old Joe is back. He was taking a break the first few weeks of the season.

46-22 7 1/2 games ahead
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 10:47 AM) The only title I'm looking forward to is: White Sox Clinch AL Central Title Ditto. But why not bigger. Just like Kapkomet said, if your going to dream, dream big.

Crede on Block?
Any way to upgrade at 3rd would be fine by me, unless Crede actually becomes the player he is susposed to be and starts to hit well, and not .250 well, like .280 well.

The Score after the game last night....
I would officaly not be a sox fan anymore if that trade happend.

Crede on Block?
QUOTE(YASNY @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 11:00 AM) "You could make a deal for Crede right now." Interesting. If he's so atrocious, I wonder why all these GM's would want him. Potential?

So what should I tell Borowski?
"Is that what it feels like to suck?"
-
Who wins the AL East?
None of the above. I would just say Baltimore because it doesn't look like they are slowing down.
-
Best division In baseball?
NL East IMO is the toughest.
-
Revovations?
The green seats is going to make the park look so much better on tv and in person.

In House Options Looking Appealing
As long as KW doesn't do anything that disrupts this team's momentum, i'm fine with it.

In House Options Looking Appealing
QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 09:45 AM) If you could add one big name, what position would you pick? For me ... starting pitcher. Push El Duque or McCarthy to spot start or long relief. Ditto.

In House Options Looking Appealing
I would honestly be shocked if KW doesn't make at least one move this year.

Good News for Our Out of Towners
QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 09:29 AM) As long as you have a special device in your head that mutes Terry Boers every time he speaks, you'll really enjoy Boers and Bernstein. LMFAO.

In House Options Looking Appealing
QUOTE(JoshPR @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 09:14 AM) Would anybody here like for the Sox to pick up the Rocket if he comes let's say not so expensive... Only under 2 conditions, If it didn't cost us that much and that he wouldn't be all for himself and he would buy into the team philosiphy that they are a team of players playing for one thing, not individuals playing for themselves.

In House Options Looking Appealing
The K's with Anderson worry me. If we want a free swinger who K's, Uribe has already got that role down. I would love for Anderson's K's to be lower, but wishing for them to get lower won't do anything.

five/six-tool team
QUOTE(Wedge @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 07:53 AM) I heard this from a guy on the Score the other day: the White Sox are a five-tool team. They can hit for average, hit for power, base run, field, and throw. They're a six-tool team if you toss pitching in there, too. I thought it was a really great way to look at our team. We don't have a guy that is truly five-tool, but overall the players on the squad combine to make a very versitile club. That is a good way to categorize this team. We have players that don't try to do too much and go beyond their capabilities.

Vote for All-City team 2005
QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 08:54 AM) From a poster on ChicagoSports.com... A sox fan has a program that pumps in 1500 votes at a time. These votes are meaningless. Submitted by: Fix Is In 6:04 AM CDT, Jun 20, 2005 ...sorry buddy. No program. Just pure determination. Damn, I wonder who told. It was fun to rig the polls .

Attendance numbers...
I'm responseable for 4! I know someone that has only missed 1 home game this season.

Revovations?
QUOTE(Tannerfan @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 07:48 AM) He doesn't own them anymore. Ted sold all of Turner Broadcasting including The Braves and The Hawks years ago to Time-Warner,which was then bought by AOL. I never knew about that. Then why would they keep playing the Braves nationally instead of locally?

Ross Gload update...
QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 06:48 AM) True, The original plan was to send Willie to AAA because he has an option left. Which would be insane to do. Timo sucks alot more, get rid of him.

Vote for All-City team 2005
5.8 % . Not on my watch.

Lee - Pods a rare win - win trade
QUOTE(CubKilla @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 08:20 AM) Very "Willie Mays-Hayes"-ish Another great movie. But just imagine where we would be without Pods. With his 35 or so stolen bases sometimes helped the sox and made the sox win that game. Without him, we could be a completely different team.

Cleveland is a growing threat
But we can't underestimate cleveland. They could easily be .5 behind second place tonight (indian win, twins aren't playing) and normally hot streaks come to an end, but this one looks like it can be a little dangerous to me. I wouldn't take cleveland lightly.
