  1. Brian makes way Too many mental errors for me to be happy with his D. His mental Lapses cost the sox a lot of bases this year. I'm not saying rowand was perfect in that department. He was way superior to Brian though. So if you can change the poll who would you rather have out there in center, with NO regard to offense , or decision making. I just might pick BA.
  2. great name for our lineup http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/mb/message.asp...g=55943.1&ctx=0
  3. 144 articles written on ozzie today. This one is from gay.com
  4. QUOTE(zach61 @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 04:39 PM) What is it? I never heard of it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Around_the_Horn
  5. I missed the 1st 5 minutes of ATH . Did they mention anything of the topic?
  6. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) Winning doesn't last forever. Offending people left and right and using lame excuses will eventually lead you into very hot water. I really think if this was anybody but Marriotti we are talking about now, it would be even a bigger deal, not grounds for dismissal, but it seems to me Ozzie keeps pushing the envelope farther and farther. It's just Ozzie Being Ozzie
  7. We always here about the sox rumors. But what are the rumors for the tigers? I know they have a lot of young talent. But they can make a run. Who would they go after?
  8. Mulder seemed to not be going over 85 any game I seen him pitch this year.
  9. At first I thought BA had a triple on that hit.
  10. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) I f***ing hate the Cubs above all okay. However, I know that the real enemy are teams in the AL (potential wild cards outside the division) and every game counts. at least you're consistent
  11. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 08:06 AM) Bump VOTE OR DYE, b****! voting as we speak.
  12. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) The Indians are no threat to us. Id love to see them sweep the Flubbs and bury them in an even bigger hole than they're already in. I like your thinking
  13. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) Wait, you wouldn't root for the Cubs over Detroit, which is a team that has better pitching and a similarly strong offense as the Indians, but you'll root for the Indians, whose pitching blows something awful, over the Cubs, even though you "have reasons" to hate the Cubs and never want to root for them? If you learn how to read. I never said what my choice was. In fact, I have not voted yet.
  14. Some people hate cleveland more than the cubs. I still dislike cleveland for all those painful seasons in the 90's watching them pwn us. our rivalry was at it's peak in 94, 97 ,2000 and just recently in 2005. Plus , I still am not counting them out. Not after last year. Who will you guys be pulling to win in this series?
  15. QUOTE(T R U @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 11:03 PM) So far this is all I can find.. "Contreras, who turns 31 on Dec. 12, has a lifetime record of 117-50, 2.82 ERA in Cuban league play." Thanks carl Some interesting stuff http://www.trentonthunder.com/release/zRel...YYMMDD=20030515
  16. Does anyone have a link to the stats for their careers in cuba?
  17. I always root for the cards. That being said, lets kick some cardinal ass this week.
  18. QUOTE(TLAK @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 11:53 AM) The White Sox have 13 games left with the Tigers. They don't need anyone's help, a championship team takes care of business by itself. The White Sox fans don't need to support whinny cub fans screaming 'let's go cubbies'. I hope the cub lose every single game they ever play, including against the Tigers or in spring training. I hope every little league team named cub finishes last. I won't shop at cub food. cub fans have tormented me for half a century and I hope they wallow in misery, hopelessness and despair. If the Tigers can add to their woes, so be it. I voted for the Tigers. Id buy you a beer for that post if I could send one through the computer . Nice post man.
  19. some good news. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/custom/...ll=chi-news-hed QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 01:56 PM) I feel bad for the guy's family and certainly he shouldn't have been murdered over it, but this is never a good idea: "The incident began when Sandoval's sport-utility vehicle and the suspects' sedan cut each other off at the intersection of Pulaski Road and Lawerence Avenue, Gorris said. The cars then began to "play bumper tag" as they headed northbound on Pulaski Road, which becomes Crawford Avenue in Lincolnwood." I'll say it again, you never know who you're f***in' with. :headshake he was actually the passenger
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 04:49 PM) Holy cripes...98 dang. The best thing about Sean is his rubber arm and mentality. He has absolutely zero fear of pitching inside.
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) Or 3 morons. watch it interenet tough guy QUOTE(Felix @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) I'm 'some guy'! yay! whine whine whine whine whine I don't care if the Cub fans mock you, or anyone else, endlessly, the Cubs beating AL Central opponents, whether its in April, June, August, or September, is good for the White Sox. Because of this (and because I don't hate the Cubs in the first place), I am more than happy to root for the Cubs this weekend, and whenever else they play the AL Central. don't you have a strip mall or a diner to go to? leave me alone.
