  1. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:19 PM) Bobby used to be a starter. He can handle another inning. he was also very mediocre as a starter.
  2. does this third inning of work mean Bobby may not pitch Tuesday?
  3. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 03:42 PM) 3-4-5 will face Papelboner again. it will be very interesting to say the least. Let's send Papelbon back to eath next inning.

  5. QUOTE(hi8is @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) from bmacs comments: "Hey Pumkin... I'm so excited to see you tomorrow. Thanks for flying me in, I'll call you as soon as I land!!" he's a pimp not something I would want to fly in
  6. Though it's not baseball, I remember when The Bulls played the Jazz in the finals, it was pretty loud over there in Utah. The Old Chicago stadium was very loud also.
  7. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 02:18 PM) LMAO! I miss those days. Nothing like cheating at Super Mario Brothers or Paper boy sounds like the code for the original sonic
  8. I think this is thread worthy, But Ill post it in here first anyway. Orlando Cabrera has reached base safely 63 consecutive games. Very impressive. QUOTE(My Dixie Normus @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 12:15 AM) After giving up six runs in four innings to the New York Mets, Toronto pitcher Josh Towers owns an ERA of 9.11. Towers was sent down by Toronto shortly after that game.
  9. This Should be interesting. I was really into it as a kid. I would go with Hulk Hogan slightly over Warrior. What About everyone else? Some of my other favorites include, Brett Hart, Undertaker and shawn michaels.
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 01:20 AM) Probably because it'll be nearly impossible for that to happen. They'll have to play absolutely horrid ball from here on out. yeah. I agree with kalapse, Tru is absolutely nuts.
  11. I'm score board watching the twins now. I respect the hell out of them. That tells you what I think of the tigers.
  12. rangercal posted a topic in The Diamond Club
I respect them. But they will always be the tiggers.
  13. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jul 4, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) I have to agree... plus how do we know he even wants to go back to starting... I'd figure he has to be happy where he is... his wallet and his agent would disagree
  14. agreed. 2005 Sox belong there.
  15. Keep That Streak going Count!
  16. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 4, 2006 -> 12:41 AM) 1st Soxtalk celebrates a championship and now TalkBulls and TalkBears may be joining Soxtalk, who will hopefully be going for a repeat performance in 06 And ya, I left out the Hawks for a reason...even I'm not that dumb start wolves talk

  18. I don't know how a homerun derby can tire you out for a half a year. I don't buy it. I do believe that it can screw with your swing.
  19. QUOTE(knightni @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 11:22 PM) I like AJ, but I can't vote for him with other guys more worthy than he on that list. traitor

  23. I'm all for watching Kalapse get a trade involving pods and figgins done.
  24. I have a couple people at my house visiting and they are looking for shops that sell UFC merchandise. Mainly looking for items for andre 'pitbull' arlovski. Thanks
  25. I was debating to put this thread in futuresox. I wanted feedback from a larger audience, so Diamond club is the right place . I've been to about 5 Omaha Royals games. Always a good time. I rooted for Omaha every time aside for the times when they played the Nashville Sounds ( sox aaa team before the knights). I was getting excited in 1995 because I was so sure Michael Jordan was going to get called up to aaa because of his name. I was looking forward to watching him in person. He came back to basketball so I'm not complaining. Some notable players I remember playing in person are: Lyle Mouton, Mike Sirotka, Dave Righetti , Ray Durham , James Baldwin, Michael Tucker Dwayne Hosey, Jermaine Dye , preety sure I seen Mike sweeney play but not 100 % sure on him. I'm thinking about doing a couple of the following this summer. Road Trip to Charlotte and/or Birmingham. and Attending a kane county cougers game. Not really interested in a schaumburg flyers game because they are not affliliated. What teams have you watched in person?
