  1. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 18, 2008 -> 12:09 AM) 53-37 rebound differential, Randolph is absolutely murdering us down low as well. Doesn't help that Noc is guarding him. amazing the game is this close
  2. what a crappy pass from hughes. OT -I'll take it!
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 06:06 PM) Excellent point. Sure, they lost to a roster that should win no more than 20 games that played WITHOUT it's best player, but you're right, when Tyrus plays like that, we go to the next level. Reality check: WTF are you talking about? Dbaho is right. If Tyrus played like that every night, it would take the Bulls to the next level. (he won't) We lost because Rose got schooled by Augustine and the refs were bobcat fans.
  4. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 07:58 PM) Bowl games in Idaho are ridiculous. Move the game to New Mexico or something. From the potato bowl to the salsa bowl?
  5. QUOTE (Texsox @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 12:52 AM) True. I start so many and am always surprised at the ones that go for days, but this is over two weeks. The person below me owns five or more devices that need charging True. I'm a technology nut. The person below me is also a member of talkbulls
  6. QUOTE (BobDylan @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 03:11 AM) Show me any video game system with a library as big as the DVD lot and I'll buy that system. Until then, the comparison is not a good one. Not only that, DVD's aren't marketed for the player. Video games are. well considering a good game can last months and a dvd is good for 2 hours, it's still a good comparison.
  7. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 07:53 PM) Turner Gill has agreed to speak with the ISU AD. That would be a great signing for you guys.
  8. QUOTE (TheBlackSox8 @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 01:51 AM) no...it's like buying a dvd player that only plays G rated movies......or just Disney movies. But that's not the case with Wii. Maybe the majority of the games are G-rated, but not all.
  9. QUOTE (BobDylan @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 01:40 AM) No it's not. There are bad wii games and good games. Same with Ps3,360 and my example: dvds. So, yes it is.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 01:14 AM) I remember. I still think they lose. The Spurs were clearly the better team that series. Just like they have been the better team pretty much every year the two teams have squared off. Change of subject: how freaking good are the Celtics? Championship hangover my ass. I love watching them play. The effort and intensity they put into the defensive side of the ball is a breath of fresh air. We all know about the big 3. But Rondo and Perkins are developing into pretty damn good players in their own right. I thought they would miss James Posey, and they still might. But they're clearly the class of the NBA and should be big favorites come playoff time. This is the first team I take seriously when it comes to approaching 72-10. If they start off 41-3 or better and I will really start to sweat.
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 05:22 PM) With titles like this no wonder I have no interest in a Wii: Story Hour Adventures (Zoo)-16 Jan 2009 Story Hour Fairy Tales (Zoo)-16 Jan 2009 NeoPets Puzzle Adventure (Capcom)-23 Jan 2009 Riding Stables (dtp young entertainment) -Jan 2009 Ultimate Band (Capcom)- 5 Feb 2009 Hotel For Dogs (505 Games)-6 Feb 2009 CM 2-World Kitchen (505 Games)-20 Feb 2009 The Destiny of Zorro (505 Games)-27 Feb 2009 Diva Girls:Princess on Ice (505 Games)-6 Mar 2009 Smiley World Island Challenge (Zoo)-13 Mar 2009 Jelly Belly Ballistic Beans (Zoo)-13 Mar 2009 Little King's Story (Rising Star Games)-28 Mar 2009 Bob the Builder: Festival of Fun (Mastertronic)-Mar 2009 Runaway The Dream of the Turtle (Focus Home Interactive)-Q1 2009 Job Island (Hudson Soft)-Q1 2009 Cake Mania–In the Mix! 12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 01:04 AM) They weren't a title threat when they had those 4 all-star caliber players, either. No matter how much Steve Nash continues to whine about the trades. 2 years ago they were. remember the amare suspension?
  13. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 10:54 PM) False. I may still be awake then. The person below me will never listen to "You Spin Me Round" by Dead or Alive, again. True! (I hope) The person below me is ready for football to end and baseball to start
  14. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 10:42 PM) Extremely False. The person below me is craving cookies. false the person below me has to wake up at or before 7am tomorrow morning.
  15. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 05:02 AM) True. I think it doesn't agree with me. The person below me would rather eat a burger than a steak. True The person below me can't wait until 2009
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 14, 2008 -> 11:46 PM) If the Cowboys win tonight, the Vikings are not going to get the Giants best effort in week 17 regardless of what happens next week. I know people will point towards last year and week 17, but that was a completely different senario in that the Giants were a Wild Card team at home on national TV against the mighty and undefeated Patriots, and weren't the division champs and defending world champs who knew what their seed was. And even if we make the (likely false) assumption that the Giants will give their all and play their starters all game in week 17, it's pretty clear the New York offense is nowhere near the same without Plaxico Burress. I disagree. They went into the playoffs on a positive note last year, I think they remember the recipe for success. No way the defending champs lay down and go on a 4 game losing streak going into the playoffs.
