  1. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 08:45 PM) Correction. The ball never hit the ground. ND lucks out. Either way he got lucky, not very good touch on that pass. I guess he really did want to throw a pick.
  2. Is it really a huge surprise that the Illini arent very good?
  3. If I am a pro GM i dont see how I could ever pick Brady Quinn as the #1 or #2 pick. He has made about 1 good throw all game, and it was a quick out pass. The guy may have the physical tools, but i see the next big bust, not the next big thing. And Quinn backs me up with a horrible throw for a pick. Correction, he got lucky and it was incomplete.
  4. QUOTE(SoxHawk1980 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 07:11 PM) Unfortunately, so does George W. Bush. And you.
  5. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 05:36 PM) The Red Sox continue to stock pile some solid young arms adding Joel Pineiro on a low risk, high reward one year deal worth $4 million dollars. If by solid young arm you mean a t 28 year old who has been awful since 2004, then yeah, they sure did.
  6. Since when did they start selling beer at college football games? I have seen many people with bud light plastic bottles. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 07:14 PM) I'm a ND hater, but I think they're going to surprise people tonight. /just wanted to make that comment before the game. You can take it back at any time.
  7. Ahhh I forgot a few prison break Sopranos Entourage Family Guy Greys Anatomy
  8. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 04:56 PM) Except it doesn't have to be that difficult. While still hard, it's easier to find a LF that can just get on base rather than one that has a bunch of speed and is your typical lead-off hitter. IMO, we don't a need a guy in the 1 spot to steal 40 bags. If you can find a OF that can get on base at a .360-.370 clip, and has moderate speed( 5-10 bags) you have yourself a great leadoff hitter for the Sox. Except finding that player for a reasonable price is difficult, which is why PODS will start the year in LF.
  9. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 03:15 PM) Hah! We now have Gary Busey, Dick Cheney, Ice-T, Garth Brooks, and Bo Jackson references all in one entertaining thread. awesome.

  11. Im working the east end of Loch Modan and got up to lvl 18 before some mo-whatever killed me.

While making money to move out west and be a ski bum I found out I liked what I was doing and I have been working ever since 2. My house burned down in college, and i lost everything but the clothes on my back 1. I travel all over the west coast and tour the great steakhouses of America on business.
  13. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) Personally I think the human area is a lot easier/faster to lvl up than the dwarf/gnome area. You could go to westfall now do all the quests, than either have a high lvl guy run you through deadmines or find a group. Than go to lakeshire(redridge mountains or whatevr) and do all the crap there, than finally darkshire and do the quests there. By the time your out of darkshire you should be low 30's and than you get to go to the place everyone hates.... Stranglethorn Vale. And you will be there for a looong time. thnx, what server are you on?
  14. im 17 right now, i will try and do what you said, as always its easier in a group so I have been doing some of that.
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 01:57 PM) Do quests... you get a lot of exp from completing them and you kill stuff on the way the xp goes super fast. You should be in westfall im assuming so do all those quests and in a couple more lvls you can do the deadmines.. and make sure you get all the quests for that including the one you get from stormshire in the dwarf secetion from the goblin. im still bouncing around, im in the eastern region of Loch Modan currently, but I have been in westfall as well.
  16. Is there a way to level faster? Right now i killed a bunch of stuff, but no xp. I have to go and kill things that are at a nhigher lvl and im getting crushed.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 12:26 PM) And his Chevelle which was just beautiful. So was the chipping/putting green in his backyard.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:40 AM) After the junk some people have pulled when our pitchers have no hitters/perfect games going... When Bobby's elbow explodes, we will come after you...
  19. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:23 AM) Which can have a lot to do with mechanics as well. One thing you should note...between Cooper and Hermy...how does our record of keeping people healthy compare with the rest of the league? Out of the starters, the only 2 who have hit the DL in the past 2 years have been the Cubans, and God only knows how old they are. They've kept Jenks healthy despite the screw in his arm, the only real bullpen injury issues seemed to be Marte and Hermanson...that's very not bad for a pitching staff. Thanks for the jinx Balt.
  20. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:22 AM) Hey, as long as he doesn't go hunting with Dick Cheney, he can hunt as often as he likes! I believe him, buehrle, and Rowand hunt together.
  21. QUOTE(heirdog @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:21 AM) Yes. Cooper pretty much said the same thing when he was on the Score last week. He worked with Thornton but McDougal was fine when he was healthy. He still has control issues though, and mechanics problems, but somehow is effective.
  22. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:17 AM) 8 years 32 million I believe it is. Thats almost 3 coaches worth of contracts. They have alot of confidence if him i guess.
  23. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 11:10 AM) If the White Sox really do see something wrong with Sisco and Floyd, and have rehabbed the careers of Thornton and MacDougal, then there should be some pitching coaches fired around the league and Don Cooper better get a big ol' raise! Well, the Braves had been doing it for years. You have to admit though, both teams did somewhat give up on them early.
  24. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 10:59 AM) Who are Steve Nash, Larry Bird, and Bill Russell? A: (potentially) The only 3 men to ever win back to back to back NBA MVP awards. Nash is ridiculous, but Amare took over that game last night, he was just sick.
