QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Feb 15, 2011 -> 02:17 PM) Tristan Thompson is very impressive, but I like his teammate Jordan Hamilton even more. My top 5 at the moment is... 1. Kanter 2. Irving 3. Barnes 4. Hamilton 5. Sullinger Guys like Knight, Thompson, and Terrance Jones are just outside of my top 5. Knight may not be a natural PG, but you can't over look his value as an athlete at the position that can stay with the other freak PG's in the NBA. Jordan Williams at Maryland is my sleeper for the lotto. If he can shed baby weight, he will be a load in the paint. I'm interested to see how these guys measure out at the combines as well. Are Sullinger and Thompson closer to 6'7 or 6'10? Is Kanter a legit 6'10-6'11? Sullinger will prob measure between 6'8" and 6'9" with a good reach. His talent isnt his height, its his gigantic ass. -

If I am an NBA team, I am selected Kanter in the top 10. You cant teach his size. And I'm hoping the Bulls can somehow steal Buford later on, he's going to be a good NBA #2 -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 15, 2011 -> 12:35 PM) Ohio State has beaten 2 top 25 kenpom teams: @Illinois, and crushing Purdue at home Kansas has beaten 2: Arizona on a neutral court, Missouri at home Texas has beaten 4: Missouri at home, Illinois in New York, North Carolina in NC, and at Kansas Texas also won at Michigan State, which tOSU has a chance to do tonight. Msu is in the 40's though. Florida is not that far off of that list and OSU smoked them on the road. -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 04:16 PM) Yeah, I'm not concerned either way. I already own the best phone on the market.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 04:06 PM) Which, as of now, no longer offer unlimited data plans, so if I wanted to make use of 4 gb of stored material on Apple's system, it'll cost a fortune. Excellent point. Would Apple give a pass on that to mobileMe customers? I wonder how they would handle that.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 04:05 PM) Well, I presume it would work on 4G/3G services. I'd assume it would. I guess thats the price you pay with a "lite" version. You could have all the apps be hosted, and the music could be streaming, but what about pictures and emails. They would also be hosted? This I gotta see.

CFB world lets out a collective Yawn when Clowney selected SC as expected. They added them to their already 31 signees (love the oversigning in the SEC) -
My favorite veggie meal is in naperville at Naf Naf. Anyone been there? They make their own pitas and whatnot, its heaven.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 03:12 PM) Clearly you'd have to have some storage on the phone otherwise it wouldn't be worth getting. What's an iPhone good for if you can't download an app? I bet the music would be streaming and your contacts and calendar would be stored remotely for the most part like on exchange. Maybe all the apps would be ondemand?

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 02:56 PM) I don't know. I've never said the words "Man, I really want a carrot right now" in my lifetime. This isnt aimed at you, but I would say alot of the food cravings people get is because their bodies are addicted to the refined sugar and additives that they have been eating for years. I love watching the "I used to be fat" type shows when they show their pantries, its almost all processed food and sugar. Of course thats all you want because you have been conditioned into thinking that poison is good for you because it artificially tastes good. Once you cleanse yourself of those addictions, carrots might actually be something you crave at times. I've been working on this personally as I have alot of late night cravings and I have supplemented my old habits with fresh fruit or vegetables or some sort of protein and I've found that it's worked wonders with my health and weight.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 02:07 PM) Are you adept in the kitchen? Do you like ethnic foods such as Indian or Thai? Difficulty: Medium This is a dish we make fairly often at home. We just use vegan margarine instead of the butter. Serve over basmati rice. Difficulty: Easy This is another one we do quite often. Very simple too. We use Upton's (local company) chorizo flavored seitan...it crumbles very nicely when you need to put it in the pan. If you don't want to venture into mock meats just skip the seitan. The black beans would provide plenty of protein. For our sides we do fresh guac, daiya cheese, diced tomatoes, and chips & salsa (this one is my favorite). Grab some fresh corn tortillas from a local purveyor. And sub shallots for the onion if you want to get real fancy. EDIT: This has to be the most out of place thread of all time on this site. I think baseball is never mentioned once. LOVE basmati rice, but only when topped with delicious chicken shwarma. Chickpeas are also a very underrated food as you can do almost anything with them and it tastes great and it nutritional.

QUOTE (Tex @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 12:49 PM) How many people here have eaten rabbit or deer in the past five years? Armadillo? Wolves? Bear? Squirrel? Waiting for their numbers to EXPLODE! Wolf meat is far too stringy

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 02:37 PM) Right, they are talking about making MobileMe free if the design these devices around "cloud" storage. The draw there is once people's data are on your servers, they will stick around because of the hassle of moving it. They could literally increase brand loyalty to their "lite" phones just by making people reliant on their service. Its actually quite brilliant.
-
QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 12:27 PM) I read that the only way to reduce the price was to take the memory out of it, which also allows it to be cut down to about half the size. Sort of an iPhone nano, if you will. Interesting idea. And increase the adoption of MobileMe which hasnt been as big of a hit as they thought it was going to be.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 11:19 AM) Yeah and plenty of people believe that accusers never lie, but there is a reason why our society believes in innocent until proven guilty, its because its to easy to make accusations that can not be proven. In your opinion it happened, in my opinion it most likely did not. I really dont believe that not mentioning it to the media helps his case. A tweet you get to say what you want with no follow up questions. If he said it to the media he might have actually had to explain what happened and then we would be able to look at the evidence. Either way, I wouldnt blindly believe any person that I had never met regardless of how allegedly impeccable their reputation is. Its unfortunate that this had to become a national story, but what else do you expect when some one tweets about it to a national audience. Actually he let his coach handle the questions, and his subsequent tweets and interviews have been nothing but complimentary towards wisconsin and the fans. If you think it didn't happen then thats fine, however the kid has no reason to lie about it and hasnt even made a big deal about it at all. Some fans are stupid and that's that, it's not indicative of the entire fan base, but i think the behavior of the crowd certainly makes the claim very plausible. Luckily it's not distracting to either program and it will be forgotten as the schedule moves on. I just hope buckeye fans don't do anything stupid when the badgers come to columbus. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 11:07 AM) Rock he made a pretty big deal about it, it was national news. And like I said, I generally would believe the player, they have caught many students on tape throwing things etc. The reason that I posted it is because Wisconsin fans who were at the game are adamantly stating that it did not happen. These are the same fans who get mad at the students for chanting "Diebler swallows". It just distracted from the game. If he didnt want to make a big deal about it, he didnt need to tweet it. And you can say this isnt the type of person to lie as much as you want, but how many athletes that people have said that about have done far worse? Innocent until proven guilty and I apply that even to accusations in general. Now like I said, if there was video evidence Id be saying that they should try and fin d the person and make sure they are permanently suspended. Its not a mystery that fans do this though. He didn't mention it to the media after the game now hasn't been interviewed about it. He took it in stride and mentioned it on a tweet. If he said he got spit on, then it happened IMO. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but it's very plausible with how rowdy the fans were and the fact they rushed the court with such force. If they examine all security tapes and zoom n far enough to watch all pieces of spittle that are near Sullingers face, then maybe you can come to a conclusive decision. Otherwise, the kid got spit on, the day ended, move on. -

QUOTE (farmteam @ Feb 14, 2011 -> 10:44 AM) That reaction would have nothing to do with being classy. It would have everything to do with your body automatically reacting to an external stimulus. I believe Soxbadger was referring to that visceral sort of reaction, not one of anger or anything. The guy isn't the type of person to lie, and he didn't make a big deal out of it whatsoever. That's the point. Coming on here and making a case for the kid to be a liar for no reason makes zero sense. Drunk college kids are idiots and spit, throw batteries, coins etc all the time at sporting events incuding dumbass OSU fans. Luckily nobody was hurt. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 13, 2011 -> 12:57 PM) I generally would believe a player. But the evidence is some what overwhelming. In the second shot you can clearly see Sullinger walk off the court. The entire time he makes no motions to indicate that he has been spit on (if you are spit on you will have an immediate reaction as well as the wiping off reaction.) Now its possible that after the shot ends he is spit on. But his claim was that some one spit in his face during the court storming. From the tape its clear that there was a wall of security between him and any fan. In order for a fan to have spit in his face they would have had to spit through security. Dont you think that would have gotten some attention? If some one spits in my face, there is going to be an immediate unmistakable reaction. The wall of security stopped spit from the stands? Come on. Even you said it was drunk college kids. Sullinger is far too classy to react on the court when something like that happens, and its pretty clear that most likely it did. Who cares anyway, you got your win. -

I understand beating the number 1 team is great and you want to rush the court, but wisconsin was the favorite.
