in response to my own post earlier...i was a little slow, i just now remembered that the chick in jughead is ellie and even back in that episode we knew or are lead to believe its faradays mom...completely forgot about that

    LOST!!!!

did the guy who is in the others say "ellie and charles might not agree to this"? i know for sure he said charles (who is obviously widmore) but i didnt catch the first name....it sounded like ellie to me...which i would imagine would be elloise hawking, faradays mother
  4. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 04:33 PM) Who the hell is this doing color? scott merkin
  5. ramirez looked horrible on that play...its like he forgot to break for the bag until he realized lillibridge had it....ugh he doesnt look like a SS to me
  6. im preparing myself for this team to just give away so many runs because of shoddy defense
  7. Richard looking as good as he did bad last outing
  8. QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 11:18 AM) Josh Freeman sucks. How is he a 1st rounder? cuz its one of the shallowest drafts for qbs in recent memory....after stafford and sachez, freeman is basically the only guy who might reasonably be an nfl starter
  9. Alex Brown was underrated like 3 years ago when he was constantly in the backfield pressuring the qb (even if he didnt have the inflated sack total)....now hes slow and gets garbage sacks and hardly applies any pressure and is overrated. He plays the run as well as any DE in the league, i'll grant him that...but in the tampa 2....you better be in that backfield forcing quick throws, forcing the pocket to collapse and/hurrying the qb and forcing him to move or your zone is gonna be exposed and picked apart....and thats exactly what happened last year....Strahan is a bad example cuz he was beast at getting to the QB and was also good vs. the run. A better example is Freeney, who couldn't do s*** in his career vs. the run.
  10. Go get him. i have no idea what it would take, but go get him.
  11. yeah our defense is gonna be god awful this year
  12. bah mlbtv has the sound f***ed up....only playing out of my left speaker...and it isnt my speakers that are broken
  13. Maybe it was the T1000????

    LOST!!!!

are you really gonna b**** because nobody responded to your post?? waah nobody responded to me waaah heres the picture btw...which if you are so desperate for people to respond to your post, then maybe you should take the time to find before telling the whole board to go f*** itself as for you theory, yes the picture looks old, but theresa (the dying woman also pictured next to daniel) looks the same age in the pic as well. So she would have had to have travelled through time as well. I think its more likely the picture is 3 years old and was left in a dusty, dirty lab that nobody really touched for 3 years.
  15. i listen to both stations during commercials and whatnot, but here are the shows i prefer I like Mulligan and Hanley alot. Mike and Mike are entertaining, but too often talk about meaningless crap and have too many commercials and talk about alot of national stuff i dotn care about. They also lose points for having the tool of all tools Eric Kusileos stand in like every other day. So advantage Mully and Hanley. Though they need to drop the stupid big doug routine. Waddle and Silvy is the best of the best on sports talk radio. Love me some would you rather...its hilarious. Thankfully they go an extra hour now carrying over into the national stuff from 12-2. They are funny, smart, talk sports and aren't enormous dickheads like B&B. I don't dislike holmes, but hampton is the new mike north, unlistenable. They really should bring the Me and Z show back instead of hamp 12-2 Now I listen to Waddle and Silvy since they go til 1. But from 1-2 its rough. ESPN used to have the Tirico and Van Pelt show, which somehow managed to have both Tirico and Van Pelt on air together maybe 5% of the time. In only 2 hours, a national show can't cover anything in depth enough to listen, especially when its commercialized like espn. Murph is sometimes unlistenable, especially during baseball offseason. There are times though when the murph show really has good baseball talk (john dewan) and he actually knows a decent amount about the game. You just have to get past his insufferable clown like noises and his whole act. Afternoon - I hate B&B, which is a shame becuase Dan Bernstein has the ability to be really good, but hes such an ass and so closed minded (even if he is one of the smarter guys on air). Boers is worthless...I'm pretty sure they just play the sound clip of a dog drowning gasping for air for Boers. The saloon should also be better than it is, but it is the better of the two shows IMO. I love Carmen, and love Harry. They are knowledgable and funny. Jurko is a moron, but i understand hes there for entertainment. I wish the show stuck to actual sports issues more though and didnt stray into other crap. I dont really listen after those shows.

    LOST!!!!

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 31, 2009 -> 11:17 AM) So, I was just listening to The LOST Podcast with Jay and Jack. Embedded in that crazy brainwash video Carl had to watch in "Not in Portland" (season 3, Episode 7) is a hidden message "only fools are enslaved by time and space" (i knew that when the episode first aired, you have to play the video backward to hear it)... According to a few internet sites (and I did a google search on this and it is true!), apparently that is an anagram for "Bones of Nadlers may lay lost deep in cave". The Nadlers are... Rose and Bernard! And what bones? Adam and Eve from season one! And what did those bones have on them? Two stones: one white... one black! Craziness!!! ive thought for a while that rose and bernard are the adam and eve bones, and this only further strengthens that thought...everyone who watches the show is wondering where they are, so you knew they were bigger parts of the story....im guessing after arrow attack rose and bernard went to the caves and eventually died there...
  17. dbaho....i like your standings alot, i think thats a good prediction of what could happen with one exception, and thats the houston astros....i was shocked when i heard on the radio the other day that they won 86 games last year. Thats only 3 fewer than we won! (whcih really tells you how BAD the NL was last year). I think they are likely to regress a bit, but i dont expect them to be 20 games worse
  18. these angels announcers are infinitely better than listening to melton breathe into the microphone and spew nonsense
  19. this is a very nice, balanced lineup anaheim has....nice job by josh to turn it over
  20. wow angels announcers say colon has lost weight...man i dont want to know what he looked like before
  21. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 02:09 PM) Is it set in stone that Wise will be leading off? I've been hoping for a while that Getz would win the 2B job and lead off, with Anderson in CF. i dont think its set in stone, and the only thing we have is what the article previously posted said...i agree with you though...i hope Anderson plays CF hitting 9th with Getz and Ramirez the 1-2 (maybe fields at 2 if he carries his spring over)
  22. im very glad owens is gone, but this is horrible news.... the fact that we plan to give the most ABs in the lineup to a 31 year old who has a career .254 obp and is a bad defender is a f***ing joke
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 07:49 AM) That's how I see the guy. He makes some incredible plays, but then falls asleep on some routine stuff. When I see him on the field, I see Jose Valentin. Valentin did make errors on routine plays....but the adage that "the guys that make the most errors arent always the worst fielders and the guys that have the best fielding % arent always the best" is true....Valentin had great range...nearly elite....Alexei, not so much...valentin got a bum rap for his poor fielding, but was far better than public perception (though i never will forgive him for dropping a foul pop up behind 3rd vs. the twins that gave the twins the game and sparked them on to a division title....circa 2003?)
