  1. you are facing brett tomko...please dont give him free outs
  2. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:30 PM) That's what someone else said. What am I forgetting about Tomko/AJ? Were they the Giants teammates that fought? yep, Tomko and someone else (can't remember who off the top of my head) anonymously called AJ a clubhouse cancer, and I believe AJ felt like it definitely had a negative impact on his free agency (which it did). AJ then paid anyone 100 bucks who hit a HR off him next spring....IIRC it was Joe Borchard who had a Benjamin Franklin in his locker after taking tomko deep. One of the guys ended up apologizing to AJ...i believe it was Tomko, can't remember who the other pitcher was though
  3. tomko huh.....should be interesting when AJ comes to the plate
  4. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:01 PM) 4 games back of DET, the team we have to beat IMO. while this is probably true, and I dont expect the tribe to keep it up, its tough to write off any team that has an 11 game edge in the loss column.
  5. No doubt abotu it, Rose's struggles go way back before this series. He's just pressed way too hard, forcing way too much, trying to make too many things happen. Part of that is trying to live up to hte MVP, part of it is trying to make up for the lack of offensive support around him. He still has growing to do. He'll get there, he's just going up against 3 legit stars that are in the midst of their primes
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 24, 2011 -> 10:43 PM) He's one of the top 5 players I've ever seen play live. MJ, Shaq, Hakeem, Kobe and LeBron. f*** the "decision." The dude is spectacular. hes got more talent than every single one of those guys you mentioned no doubt in my mind. Like i said, so much of it remains untapped. Each one of those guys you mentioned were still the better player IMO
  7. its absurd still how much talent James has....and still doesn't use. Talent wise its not even close between he and Kobe
  8. nothing you can do there....thats the difference between being lebron 6-8 and 250+ and being rose at 6-3
  9. great D by brewer...wade made a tough shot....theyve really played him well all series that should be on bosh
  10. is there a single person on the planet that has slower lateral movement than boozer?
  11. wtf the first time i let it pass but you cant do the same f***ing thing 2 straight possessions and expect it to work the second time when it failed so miserably the first
  12. QUOTE (Felix @ May 24, 2011 -> 10:09 PM) That was a great call. And one that wouldn't be made if the league was rigging it against the Bulls. ok....we get it. it bothers you that all the bulls fans are complaining about the refs
  13. how was what wade just did any different than what deng did to lebron
  14. ugh stupid play by boozer.....gotta make sure he doesn't score there...thats where that flagrant hurts again
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 24, 2011 -> 09:52 PM) I cannot believe that this was a flagrant in the Eastern Conference Finals. Somewhere, the Bad Boy Pistons just shut the tv off and declared the NBA dead. that was a walk in the park when laimbeer was in the lane
  16. thats a good f***ign playoff foul.....thats absurd
  17. certainly didnt look like a foul....show a f***ing replay TNT
  18. QUOTE (Felix @ May 24, 2011 -> 09:42 PM) How can you actually dispute that? it was as blatant a foul as possible. no doubt it was a foul. that said you cant objectively say that this has felt like an evenly called game
  19. unreal how many calls lebron gets... horrendous shot choice by boozer
  20. lebron travels, then gets away with a flop
  21. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:28 AM) Wow, I can't even imagine the b****ing on this website if we were to rebuild. We would be terrible for years to come with no guarantee of this amazing future everyone associates with rebuilding. We're better off going for the division and hoping to maintain our large payroll. That's really the only way to compensate for our bad minor league system and have a chance of competing. I'm not prepared to be the Pittsburgh Pirates for the next seven years. Remember, we won't go over slot, don't have much of a presence in Latin America, and don't have enough tradable assets to replenish our system. We'd have to suck Pirates style to get the young talent to needed to successfully complete a rebuild. excellent post we are not in any position to rebuild and contend anytime soon. If we try to rebuild, it certainly isn't going to be one of those quick rebuilds where we are back in 2 years.
  22. i hope someone else just saw sosa...what a creep
  23. LOL @ that call on noah horrendous finish again by the bulls....
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ May 22, 2011 -> 09:29 PM) James shifted his pivot foot twice there, and then so did Bosh. Need to get Boozer back in the game for Taj ASAP. yep...rewound it twice....james certainly traveled
  25. Haslem gets an offensive foul call when 1.) he was moving, and 2.) he had his foot CLEARLY and entirely in the restricted zone. The bulls aren't going to get a single call this entire series on the road
