my grandfather was the biggest mavericks fan I ever knew. He was probably as big of a Mavs fan as I am a white sox fan. He would come to thanksgiving every year from Dallas and would always want to know if the Mavericks were somehow on tv in Chicago. He passed away last summer, and I know he would have absolutely loved this. I hope hes somewhere smiling right now.

Lebron fails to show up again. I know he had a triple double but it was an unimpressive fashion. Unacceptable for your only 4th quarter points to come on a gimme layup with 20 seconds left when the other team is just trying to not foul, enspecially when you are the best player in the game.

and its not as if danks doesn't have natural power....remember it was thought he would be a big time power guy coming out of high school too. IIRC he won the HR derby at a big time scouting event over some other top prospects.

sad to see shaq go, but it was his time The most dominant player in the NBA since Jordan (to date), and if you ask me I'd say the best too. Think of how silly the guys scoring numbers would have been if he could shoot just 70% from the line
