  1. just cuz there was a pop doesnt mean biceps tear by any stretch of the imagination...thats like going to the Doc and saying I have a cough and him instantly diagnosing you with tuberculosis
  2. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:49 PM) lol chris broussard KNICKS GAINING MAJOR GROUND ON LEBRON i honestly think lebron can win a championship there....people can go ahead and laugh at me, but that cleveland roster without lebron is roughly a 35 win team IMO...the knicks won 29 last year and are adding Amare....now clearly its not as likely as if he was a bull, but I honestly think no matter what team lebron plays for, they are instantly conference champion contenders
  3. its ridiculous how healthy we have been as a whole throughout the years....this type of thing really sucks, but our training staff has been really lucky/good and kept this type of thing to a minimum
  4. afternoon saloon just said NY times reporting bosh won't go to cleveland.....this rumor of deng to portland has had legs for a few days now...
  5. honestly there are very very few people who's reports i trust...but i actually believe what KC Johnson says
  6. crap...after steeger i was sure they were done dealing...
  7. i think the wade to chicago chances are better than most think...especially if they can get a big man also
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 08:14 PM) I was just thinking about how I don't see you too often on here. Nice to see you around. yeah thanks, ive been busy lately, but trying to get back to soxtalk as much as possible
  9. i can't believe how much weight betemit appears to have lost
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 29, 2010 -> 07:11 PM) World Wide Wes supposedly was Stephan A Smith's source. I don't know who the fools at ESPN were listening to. We know Wade was in Chicago Friday and Saturday and Sunday evening the Miami Herald talked to him at O'Hare. We know Lebron was in NY Thursday and Friday. Why would they fly down to Miami to have a meeting? It makes no sense, and in the day and age everyone is basically carrying a camera no photos? They may have had a "summit", but it certainly wasn't in Miami this past weekend. At least one of the fanbases from Miami, NY or Chicago is going to be majorly dissappointed. I doubt it will be the Bulls fanbase. so is wes just spewing BS then...he has been saying he thinks its chicago the entire time.... all i know is we really can't trust anything out there right now, but the bulls have to be pretty damn attractive, and I really like the fact that the bulls are going to meet with Bosh first......I think he's a huge key...if you can go into your meeting with Lebron saying we got 1.) rose 2/3) open for you 2/3.) deng 4.) Bosh 5.) Noah...i dont think lebron can possibly even think about another team
  11. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 24, 2010 -> 09:24 PM) This series actually worries the hell out of me for some reason. i was thinking the exact same thing....the team who is playing well heading into the series always seems to struggle, and the team that is struggling often uses the intensity to light a fire under em a bit...this just seems like one of those series that if we get swept, could send us back into a tailspin (probably because as much as I am ecstatic about what this team is doing, I'm still not 100% sold on it being legit)
  12. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 24, 2010 -> 12:42 PM) The 2 circles were used in the olden days by photographers, they serve no real purpose now other than as an aesthetic throw back to a by-gone era. the coaches stand there when they hit fungos i think
  13. man i love quentin when he gets hot...he definitely has the potential to end the season with 25 HR
  14. I really don't want Viciedo on the big league roster if he isn't going to play....
  15. Vegas Friday, DC/baltimore next weekend for the 4th, Nashville for Labor Day
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) I've never seen a pitcher that has the best fastball and a secondary pitch. Strasburg might have the best fastball, curve, and change-up in all of baseball. closest was probably the big unit.....he had arguably the best fastball and best slider....pedro had an unreal change and good curve, but never the best fastball.....you are right though....this guy is something else
  17. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 07:05 PM) This guy is going to strike out 20 in a game someday. he might do it multiple times too....that change he is throwing today, in that location, is unhittable...and its probably his 3rd best pitch
