HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN THE STANLEY CUP!!

can't be too often that you win a road game against a team 27-6-8 at home, when you have 5 penalties and they have 0 niemi was fantastic today -

QUOTE (kitekrazy @ May 16, 2010 -> 03:50 PM) How long is that going to last. From what I've seen so far in this game looks like a half court basketball game. I've seen the Sharks always in the Hawks end. If that keeps up, the Sharks will blow this open in the 3rd. 8 minutes being shothanded will do that...the hawks have looked decent when at full strength... -

what a choke job by the bruins.....man, we have to find a way to beat the sharks -
part of the fun of LOST in the first few seasons was guessing what all this stuff meant....postulating what was important and why...why was it important that Sawyer drank with Jacks dad in Australia? Did the fortune teller Claire saw really know what was going to happen? etc etc....as time went on it became increasingly clear that this stuff just frankly didnt matter....they were props to get us talking about the show, meanwhile the producers went on to provide absolutely nothing essential about the island until the final season. Seemingly the two most important players/characters we just really got to know in this last episode. The more and more weird twists the show added, made me expect the unexpected, and the show lost all sorts of "WOW" factors for me. Its really a shame, the show was SOOOOOO good for 2.5-3 seasons....even the 4th season was pretty good. Seasons 5 and 6 for me have been very average and its just sucks to see something i enjoyed that much end in mediocrity all that said, i absolutely expect the last 2 episodes to blow my socks off

i know mike brown is only a year removed from being coach of the year, and the cavs had the best record in the NBA, but can anyone really say that this guy has done a good job with that team? I certainly wouldn't

caught part of the raiders one the other day, and heard great things about them so i watched 2 on on Demand.... Run ricky run was awesome.... the silly little game on the fantasy guys was just an absolute waste of time...i understand what the directors were going for producing it, but it was just not entertaining, and frankly not worth watching

QUOTE (Brian @ May 11, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) Disappointed. So is his brother the smoke or is the smoke just taking his form? I'm assuming it is his bro because in present island he wants to leave. Wasn't what I was expecting. yeah i thought it was very meh.....not bad, but particularly great...my thought was that his brother was dead, and that the smoke monster took his form...just as he takes locke's form

hawks playing really well so far despite being down 1-0 -
so i probably just forgot because they skipped a week, and i haven't been following all that closely, but what happened to Ben and Richard?
-
no better spot to put a guy hitting .204/.271/.204 than DH and leading off

solid period....looks like they are finally playing hard and fast....would have liked to have gotten a goal though...they had some great chances in the last 10 minutes of that period -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 2, 2010 -> 03:23 PM) Some amazing flukish batting averages. I'll go ahead and assume Theriot, Fukodome, Byrd and Soto won't hit .349, .347, .329 and .328, respectively. You're right about Soriano. He's on one of his little three week tears. Immediately to be followed by a month of suckage in which I have a better chance of hitting a breaking pitch than he does. looking at the cubs numbers...its amazing they are only .500 and have done so against a really easy schedule (even for the NL)....gorzelanny, silva, dempster and wells have all been incredible for them.....everyone on offense except Lee and Ramirez has been better than expected......
-
so weve seen ramirez, vizquel and kotsay all lead off in addition to pierre.....ozzie is just a bad on the field manager

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 1, 2010 -> 12:00 AM) Best news I've heard today. I love Flowers. Sox fans will finally realize what it's like to have a OBP/OPS weapon of a catcher if all goes right. im a huge flower fan too....im not sure hes going to hit for as much power as some projected him too after his ridiculous AFL a couple years ago, but the guy will be an on base machine

http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/...ency-class.html obviously the other free agents would have to be more attractive if for no other reason than age, but Dirk would be a perfect fit for us as well
-
wtf was that peavy...why did he say fastball....was he pissed at AJ?
-
well at least this time peavy didnt blow the lead our offense got for him
-
wow this guy sucks right now
-
can we please stop using the "F" in between Peavys initials
