Obviously Gordon has been garbage but just seeing Lillibridge's name in our lineup makes me cringe.

Floyd just needs to do what he's done his last three starts and the rest takes care of itself.

Floyd = NL-tamer.

Someone said in another thread that Rios is 0 for 10 against Lowe.

I'm sorry, but for Gavin, who has given up 3 runs total in 23.2 innings pitched over his last three starts, and has taken ZERO wins out of that thanks to the Sox scoring a total of 4 runs in those games...I think he deserves an actual three hole hitter in the line-up if we must give Rios ANOTHER day off. JMO...

i have hope for this lineup to put us up 4 runs our pitching just needs to hold up

Hypothetically...if Rios does need 3 offdays out of 6 days, isn't that the point of the rotating DH?

I'm not gonna judge a guy whose only had like 95 ABs last year when he was seriously overmatched. Even a sample size 2-3 ABs this season and hitting better in AAA this year around makes me feel better about him as he looks miles better at the plate. Now it'll be interesting to see how he does when he hasn't played at all however.
