  1. Barrett's sucker punch didn't even phase AJ. And Barrett thought he was a big martial arts expert LOL! Then Carlos Zambrano kicked his ass in the Cubs clubhouse.
  2. Too bad he wasn't totally disconnected from the team.
  3. Just watched the clip again because it's so good. Now that's major league baseball! Every current White Sox player should have to watch this clip and pay special attention to Harry Caray's post game wrap up! I sure miss Dick Allen, Harry Caray and the real Chicago White Sox.
  4. I think you left out one part of the reported story.
  5. Ozzie was good for the first three years he managed.
  6. I thought the same thing too that it was just a joke. Grandal was the one that made an issue of Donaldson calling TA "Jackie" and now they even turned on each other LOL!
  7. It's more entertaining than watching the games. I stopped watching those.
  8. May he never sully the name of the great Jackie Robinson again.
  9. Right. But since they do allow it, if a player insists he wants to attract special attention to himself by wearing different colors like he's something special, he better damn well produce like he's special.
  10. I know I'm more old school than most here, but I always thought everyone on the team should wear the same uniform - that includes shoes, sleeves, etc. Everyone should be in uniform team colors. I remember Konerko didn't even want to wear a "C" on his uniform as captain because he was concerned that it was "a difference in the uniform."
  11. I really enjoy these posts. I remember that 1974 Nolan Ryan game. Also remember "The Big White Machine." It was a fun gimmick but I guess not classy enough for a "first class operation."
  12. But I heard he was a microcosm of all that is wrong with this team. ?
  13. It's shocking that the Royals passed on him for their Manager opening.
  14. Since TLR returned, the White Sox have had only one steadfast rule which may not be broken: Never, but never, hit a home run against a position player pitching. Other than that, anything goes.
  15. I'm The best player on the field! - Tim Anderson. I'm today's Jackie Robinson! -Tim Anderson I'm going to change the game! - Tim Anderson
  16. AJ flattened Barrett with a clean hit while Barrett was blocking the plate. Then Barrett sucker punched AJ and it hardly phased him. He just looked at Barrett like "WTF is your problem?" Cubs fans post the still pic of Barrett's fist on AJ's jaw and try to make it seem like Barrett kicked AJ's ass as a metaphor for the Cubs beating the Sox, when in reality it was just the opposite.
  17. ? LOL! I just saw the video. Tim starts a fight and gets knocked on his ass! ???
  18. Remembering the good old days when it was fun to be a White Sox fan:
  19. Still waiting for them to "flip the switch" LOL! It seemed like the team lost it's mojo around the time TLR woke up in the dugout and went ballistic over Yermin Mercedes hitting a home run then gave the Twins permission to throw at him.
  20. I haven't watched a second of any Sox game this month. Don't plan on watching any more this season. But I come here to keep up with what's going on.
