  1. That's seems a little high with his history. Maybe they've had him on an off season program but it seems really physically dangerous to me. Kopech's limit is around 100 and you can see how they are using each differently.
  2. Any intel on if they'll actually play with the the current weather forecast of rain?
  3. He will in 2023.
  4. True. But maybe give him a whole season to get comfortable, then start drawing conclusions on his career
  5. He's already thrown 20 pitches. I doubt he gets the whole inning.
  6. It a shame players can't improve after 40 games in the MLB. Robin Ventura shod have been cut after that 0-41 to start his career.
  7. You just want him suspended so he won't be in the lineup. ?
  8. At least a season.
  9. Yaz, the answer is always Yaz when it comes to Hawk.
  10. What do you mean. That was the second homer off of him. The first one was 3 runs.
  11. For jockeys it's really more about the weight.
  12. Young players especially with less than half a season under their belt in teams with high expectations tend to do that.
  13. I think they just to mess to the over reactionaries on the board
  14. Soft fly ball to left? You are drinking.
  15. Rarely do managers start a catcher in a night game then the next day game. So he was getting either tonight or tomorrow off.
  16. In a perfect world he would have gotten in a full college season starting to build innings. However he probably wouldn't have been there for the Sox to draft either. So good and bad.
  17. It's all about building up. I don't think he will be a one inning guy unless it's due to performance in that game.
  18. I think just physically Crochet will not be in the rotation in 2022. He needs to build up innings slowly due to his lack of innings. I would not count on him in the rotation until 2023.
  19. Wow. 1989 for me. I'm old. I have a daughter doing a virtual graduation from college tomorrow.
  20. It's purely my guesstimate. I've said all along I would not factor him into the rotation until 2023 because of his lack of innings and never learning how to be a starter. I see him being a typical reliever this year and more like what Kopech is doing this year in 2022 for him. He just hasn't pitched enough yet to build up his arm.
  21. I'm guessing but his max in college was about 65 and last year he only had about 15 competitive innings and probably a few more in games at the alternate site. So I doubt he had more than 30 or so innings last year.
  22. Got it. I'm not on the message board. It's a good thought though. I'll look it up. I was a student trainer for the team in awful Era of the transition from Marjerus to Dukiet. It was tough.
  23. His limit will only be about 60 innings. That's what a typical reliever does so there isn't much room for starting unless it's a one inning opener.
  24. Crochet won't be. His innings limit will be far too low.
  25. UN on Scoop?
