  1. Yeah, When I lived in Sugar Grove the reception was too inconsistent.
  2. If you would have said before the game the Mazara would be the most productive OF, I don't many would predict a win.
  3. Dang he gave the tigers a run and they hit him! Some thanks.
  4. He hangs onto that slider a little too long too often.
  5. I doubt it. It's rare for a career college reliever to become a starter in the MLB. It happens but not often.
  6. Yeah after 2 sliders away for strikes, everyone knew the next one was a fastball up and in.
  7. EEEEK! It's broken and needs to be amputated!!!!
  8. They're young and learning. The expanded playoffs happened at the right time to give them experience. They probably won'y go far but it will be good for them.
  9. Agreed. Veterans have nothing to gain in situations like that.
  10. How about when Bevington made a call to the pen and no one was even warming up? Or when he pulled a daffy duck and talked the umpire into a call that actually hurt the Sox? Those were the days.
  11. He's gone through 2 innings with only 24 pitches and thrown twice as many strikes as balls. That's pretty good for him.
  12. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I disagree. I'm sure there are plenty of players on either side. I'm sure players who played under Maddon are used to this he didn't care what they did. It's eventually what got him run out of town by management.
  13. No I'm not at least I don't think I am. The issues of team wide bad defense or too mnay strikeouts is more an aspect of team construction than it is individual coaching. No coach is going to get TA to walk 100 times per year. No coach is going to turn Eloy into an above average fielder. I'll give you the bad base running as that is a function of decisions as opposed to natural talent or lack thereof. My point is what you said in the last sentence. This agree with. Maybe i haven't expressed it correctly. Personally, I think mangers in baseball matter very little strategy wise, I do think they matter in keeping players playing for them over a long season.
