  1. I agree. Now is the time to start keeping track.
  2. Good to see from a young athlete. The back to back injuries could really mess with high level athletes.
  3. I disagree that he was no talent. He showed pretty good in 2018. The talent is there however he has trouble harnessing it and can't control it. He is not the only pitcher in history to have talent but just can't get it together. Nor is he the only athlete that this has happened to. Just look to Soldier Field. Trubiskey has all the talent in the world. Unfortunately, on game day he just can't put it together.
  4. Fantasy football sucks. The team I was playing has Watson at QB. He had 5 points until garbage time in the 4th quarter when they were down 31-7. KC decided to play prevent defense and 10 minutes later Watson is up to 20 points with a shitload of yards and 2 TDs.
  5. Probably not good for his arm though depending on how many pitches he goes.
  6. Yep. Fortunately I did awhile ago.
  7. Exactly, unfortunately the Bears have given us ample temptations over the years.

    I like Jason's Nicky2strikes
  9. Don't live in the past or what ifs Jack. It won't help anything now.
  10. Yep. They just did it so they didn't need to send someone else down to get a starting pitcher for saturday. 9/17 is the regular rotation spot for him with skipping one start.

I think he is more aggressive than most players. I like that in a player and he will learn what he can and can't do. The one I agree with was trying to take 3rd base when the ball was hit to the SS right in front of him. That's as bad a TA getting caught sleeping at 2B and getting picked off. That is something he can't do. I'll deal with the other ones as long as he shows he's learning.

He only argued after the at bat was over because you can't do it in the middle of the at bat. He did step out of the box and said something to the ump after the really bad call 2 pitches earlier. It would surprise me if the argurment after had nothing to do with that last pitch specifically and had more to do with the fact that both of them couldn't be strikes and he's right. Maybe you are a better lip reader than me but the ump messed with the strike zone on the bad call and moved the plate for nick.

He had a legitimate argument though. The pitch 2 before was a strike 4 inches inside. There is no way both of those pitches could be strikes. He was correct on that.

Part of it is that he didn't spend much time at the lower levels. He really hasn't learned what the capabilities of professional players are. This is the disadvantage of the player advancing so quickly. He'll figure it out with time.
  15. I don't think 27-33 get them in the playoffs. The 99.9% is based on their chances right now not at the end of the season. If they continued to lose, each day that number would go down until eventually they wouldn't be in the playoffs. The .1% chance they won't make they playoffs is the number of games they are likely to lose. They aren't likely to lose enough games to not make the playoffs.
  16. But 2 pitches before the ump called a strike on a pitches 4 inches inside. Both pitches cant be strikes.
  17. Categorical can't be horrible with the Jessica Biel bikini and swim scenes. It was only awful.
  18. I was thinking one of the major leagues had a catcher named brubaker. The one with jessica biel was memorable for her.
  19. I think the quickness at 2B is also a function of getting used to the MLB playing speed and the subsequent indecision. The arm strength does seem less than touted. Reports were that he could be serviceable at SS. That I don't see.
  20. It's more his decision making. He's taking chances like he is still playing in the PAC 12.
  21. Other than Sheets and Vaughn who are other recent ones? I can't think of any.
  22. They dont test for specific PEDs during the initial test any longer. The test doe levels being off. They only look for the substance after a test is positive.
  23. Agreed, starting to get that nervous feeling of making the playoffs. Hopefully they can play well the last two weeks against improved competition.
