  1. Agreed. If a team is that close then it's worth it. I wouldn't do it if is multiple pieces but that was worth.
  2. I agree. Try to keep as many as possible on the regular schedule.
  3. Haven't really heard much. Is he throwing yet?
  4. I agree. As long as Eloy is in LF, they can't have another butcher out there.
  5. Especially with Ricketts saying they are at the limit of payroll and the financial issue going forward. They are going to need to shed payroll to make any improvements.
  6. I wasn't even really looking at Kopech. Giving up Kopech, Steiver and Vaughn would be a blow to anything else for the future. I don't think they get him for only 2 of the prospects. If it was only Kopech and Vaughn, you may do that. De Grom is 32 and it may work for this year but going forward he may age quickly.
  7. Yep. No real reason to sacrifice that much future for this year.
  8. Cooper has no say in the development of the pitching plan in the minors? Marshall and Detweiler have turned it around pretty good without spending time in the minors.
  9. I was chastised yesterday for saying that people continue to talk negative about Cooper.
  10. Yes. That's typically what you do to pull happy power hitting teams.
  11. That's true. He was a little too calm with that. i liked the way he handled the players. Really seemed to get them to perform well.
  12. I liked Jerry. I thought he did a pretty good job.
  13. I guess I meant he didn't mean to send it out. I'm sure he has opinions on things, he just does nothing controversial in his work. He had the picture but it was a mistake to send it out.
  14. Yeah, it was just a mistake. He is the least most controversial person around.
  15. Not devil's advocate at all. It just seems crazy that the Sox are on a 7 game win streak, pounded the Cubs for 2 straight and are on an historic offensive explosion and the comments are off the wall negative with high frequency. But you're right my frustration with the posters is just as annoying as their comments about the team. So I will refrain from further sarcasm.
  16. Wait. Where is the criticism of Coop because he is focusing on the dance and not helping Colome have a 0 ERA? Colome gave up a run today! Get back to work you lazy, ignorant coaches!
  17. And Ricky is an idiot for contining to play him let alone for batting him 3,4,5 in the order.
  18. I don't think most people here do. They won by 3 runs and if you read the last few pages, i would have thought they lost by 10.
  19. I guess he can hit RHP on occasion. Yeesh.
  20. Because less people criticize him and he gets paid better.
  21. I don't understand why they throw him a fastball.
