7/26 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
He will automatically be in it with a collision and light headedness. Hopefully he passed the tests and will out just today.

The way he was throwing across his body with the lower arm angle makes me think it happened earlier and is in the subacromial area.

Cease is the better pitcher but if you look at it from trying to win both of the first series it makes sense. The twins get the the Sox number 1,2,5 starters and Cleveland gets the 3,4,1 starters. it evens it out instead of front loading the twins series.

Delmonico has actually pretty good that first year. Hopefully, in limited time he can produce again.

Yes it is.

Bears just sent out a notice that there will be no season tickets this year. No multi-game packages either. If fans are allowed in the stadium PSL holders then season ticket holders will have priority for single game tickets.

With this lineup you can pretty much put the top 6 anywhere. I'm glad Robert is lower to start. He is going to struggle mightily early on with contact.

Nice variety! Need to have other options for error and walk though.

Even if was Old Milwaukee Red Light or Hamms? I'm a fan but I'm not sure I could go there. ?

16 added to Schaumburg squad
This is why they had Mercedes and Vaughn play third. With this group they can scrimmage now. ?

Rodenbach grand cru and Giordano deep dish. That's my plan.

16 Team Playoffs in 2020 Agreed Upon
Baseball is such a random sport compared to most because they depend so much on one player, the starting pitcher, AND the other team cant counter him with their best player in big situations. In football the quarterback can be countered by schemes or defending his favorite receiver with your best player. In baseball they have to bat in the order so in big situations they need to count on lesser players often. Whether it's a 3 game series or a 9 game series. It's the luck of the draw. Obviously in a longer series team depth and the increased chance the better players will hit but it's still a lot of luck and randomness. I prefer the longer season and longer series but whatever helps young fan interest and helps the game in the long run is fine with me because its baseball.

Serves me right for posting before reading everything else! I figured the owners had to give up something.

At least they finally agreed on something. It's interesting that the players wouldn't agree to it during the larger negotiations but agreed to it now. I wonder if the owners offered something for during the CBA discussions.

Because Snyder was adamantly opposed to even considering changing the name until big money corporate sponsors threatened to pull out. He probably threatened to fire anyone who even mentioned it in meetings.

After the awful fighting between the owners and the union, the league could use some goodwill and interest for the fans. It's purely a way to get the fans back into the game until the game loses it again with the CBA battle and probable work stoppage.

Agreed. Personally, I don't mind more teams but the "choosing" of the opponent should be just for this season.

No kidding. Just imagine the bulletin board fodder. "They had the balls to pick us!" I'm not a fan for it to always be that way but for this season it will create fan interest. At least they are trying something original.

Mazara starting season on IL?
Got it. I have not personally been in there but friends who work there treat it like any other clinic, they have to wear a mask coming into and when they are in there. What they do outside is another story.

JR worried about 2021 season
Of course he did. He made the point to A) let everyone know next year will be tough financially and there will be decreased options for players, B) to let the players know they won this round but there will be a greater battle for the next CBA. My point is that people who continue to focus on it and say he continues to "cry poor" just have an obvious bias to continue to attack it. His tactics are no different than the players union with the refusal to take a cut in pay per game while the owners took a greater decrease in revenue per game. Some people just only see the one side and refuse to admit that the players are doing the same thing.
