  1. I disagree. The muscular shoulder injuries I would agree with. The UCL are not. They are mechanical in nature not a "getting arm in shape issue. "
  2. A few. The rash of UCL is not related. Lopez shoulder could be.
  3. Isn't that basically through the end of the season?
  4. Palindromes work too. I just have never seen the identical numbers this many at bats in. And yes it's because of only getting on base with singles
  5. Hence the 7 inning DH of which there will need to be plenty
  6. Being an OCD numbers guy, I just like the fact that Madrigal slash line is all the same 308/308/308.
  7. Not good if he went to the 45 day. Good bet it's more than a muscle strain then.
  8. That's awesome.
  9. Especially lefties.
  10. Let's see some contact.
  11. Sorry, you are correct.
  12. Because it's good for the team, that's why all teams do it.
  13. As the Director of Player Development, I'm sure he is wondering the same thing. However, he has to give that answer he can;t just say no comment. It's a CYA answer to protect against a grievance. It's BS but that needs to be the answer.
  14. I guess I would say it's a positive that a bunch Marlins had it and transmitted it to very few people and no players. That means the mitigating of the transmission is working pretty well.
  15. He has to say something like that. He can't just say "today is the day we get the extra year of control, so he will be up in two days." It's BS but he has to respond with something like that.
  16. This is quite odd. The MPFL reconstruction he had seemed rehabed well because of that outing.
  17. That's a good sign.
  18. At least he won't be another strikeout waiting to happen. This pull and swing for the fences approach of most of their hitters is getting old. Hopefully, they look back at the week and adjust at least a little. I think Madrgals contact skills will negate the lefty-righty somewhat.
  19. or Boston even,
  20. I guess it's kind of what I expected then. Just doesn't seem that way.
  21. I agree. I was confident he would get there, just thought his swing and miss would be more of a weakness early on.
  22. I'll buy that!
  23. He is definitely making contact more often than I thought he would this early in the season.
  24. Really, Paula Abdul?
  25. More situational hitting!
