  1. Typically, the bullpen schedule is harder physically than starting. In the pen they warmup, sit down and may or may not pitch. With starting they are on a set schedule and can get the arm ready and get consistent work and rest.
  2. It's one in the shoulder and one in the elbow. It really doesnt make that big of a difference. He probably had the elbow injury due to he lowered his arm angle because of the bursa issue in the shoulder, either before or after the surgery.
  3. No doubt. However, I dont think his arm bouncing back is the issue. It will be his performance during his rehab stint and Lopez and Gonzalez in the MLB that will determine who is in the rotation and who is in the pen.
  4. The offense does heavily depend on the tight end to be effective. Look at the offensive comps in pederson and Reid. The offense was pretty effective with a healthy burton.
  5. It will all be in the evaluation. He may not run much but he needs to move around and still get hit in the legs. I dont know how it will pan ou but I would love to see his agility drills at the combine, if he goes.
  6. It's possible. But with the way Boston refused to go to him in pressure situations in the playoffs, no one signing him last off season and his performance last year I think he is on the downslide.
  7. Last year wasnt an outlier, it was the beginning of the downward slide. It started at the end of the previous year.
  8. That's going out on a limb for a GM when he's had 3 surgeries already. His medical people better be dang sure.
  9. I doubt it with the surgery history.
  10. Probably not, but it will be interesting to watch.
  11. Just depends on the stability of the ankles. Having severe enough high ankle sprains on both ankles that he needed surgery on both doesnt bode well.
  12. He also changed it when people didnt like the very top seats. Every owner wants a d needs the suites for revenue.
  13. They have 2 of Gonzalez, Lopez and rodon in the bullpen as pitchers come back from injury as well.
  14. Bears 4th round? I wonder how far the injury concerns will push him down
  15. I think you are wrong about the Cubs. While they have money they do not want to continually go over the tax threshold and lose picks. They are already near that threshold and will not spend money until they unload one of their players.
  16. Leadership is most important in baseball due to the amount of time spent together on the road and the amount of downtime involved in the game.
  17. Pitching is always the key, regardless of the lineup.
  18. Why would you be anywhere near a boar without a .45 in your hand is the real question. He's obviously not a seasoned rancher. He deserves to have the deduction in his pay.
  19. That's what I said. It's a stimulant not a muscle building type PED. Its banned like amphetamines.
  20. Kittle is the one remember with the rooftop shots. He hit them a long way. Thomas hit the hardest ones. He just hit them straight and didnt upper cut them. He hit one so hard at me in left center that it was still rising as it went over me at the wall.
  21. Kopech was suspended for a stimulant not a muscle building PED. The drug would have nothing to do with his build.
  22. Of all the problems they have the offensive line is still the worst. How many negative plays have they had today against the 2nd team defense.
  23. Depends on what the team thinks of said catching prospect. They know more about him than anyone else.
  24. Always look on the bright side of life (continue the whistle part)
