Walks
Let's see what that looks like when all of the minor league players are off the rosters. It's spring training.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
Applies to the blackhawks as well. Drastic difference with some of the young talent making it's way.

CHSN to be available on antenna in Chicago
Can the app be shared in different households?

The next round of cuts
Not necessarily true. While the surgery and rehab is longer in the short term for the UCL reconstruction, bone spurs develop due to excessive stress and can show up again. Not likely but possible.

The next round of cuts
Could be. The issue is why did the muscle strain happen. Was is an overuse injury just due to the muscle work. Or was it being overused due to the ligament laxity and it was trying to hold the joint together. Either way it's a muscle strain but different etiologies.

Sox Spring Training notes
Doesn't matter the actual velocity. It's if you are throwing at your max too often. One person throwing 97 maybe be throwing with less effort than someone else throwing 95.

Berroa, Carela getting TJ
Yep. The way pitchers throw today it's not if they will have a UCL reconstruction it's when. It's a shame but that's the game today

Berroa, Carela getting TJ
Can never have enough pitching.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
So you're saying they all have to be #1 starters to be considered successful?

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
Heck, I'm older than you. You are off on many off the pitching propects. Many more than just the big 3. Of course he will need to produce at the MLB level. Buy he has at least a couple more years. This organization was awful. Expecting him to turn it around within 1-2 years is asinine.

No he doesn't need to feel pressure. They are in full rebuilding mode while he brings the entire organization into the 21st century instead of the 19th. He took over an awful organization. The owner won't spend on big free agents so they need to build the organization. That was the problem with the last group. The had top end prospects who produced for a couple of years but there was no depth behind them when it fell apart. And you are way off in your prospect evaluations.

Sox Spring Training notes
If you've never been to spring training, watching the players and games on the backfields is a great experience. More fun than the "true" games for baseball nerds.

If they sign dalman, it's a possiblity

3/6 - Sox/Giants 2:10 CST - spring training
I think there is a fairly good chance Amaya starts until they think Montgomery is ready. If none of them can hit go woth defense. He looks pretty good there.

I don't think they'll change tackles. So far 2 guards. I think center is next. 1st round draft will be defensive line.

Slater oblique strain
Must be a real mild one. Thats a quick return.

24-25 NFL Thread
They have a lot of cap space a 3 or 4 year deal would work. They need to get a center and ill he happy.

At LT where they played him or at guard which is more natural position? If its for all OL, I'll take that.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
Agreed
-
Slater oblique strain
That's a possibility if they wind up having that many on the IL. Cheap replacement. Of course trying to off load a 20 million dollar injured player won't be easy.
-
Slater oblique strain
If he was valuable why did he get acquired for cash considerations? I'll still go with the people who evaluate the minors for a living and say that the Ks and bat to ball skills will keep him from being an mlb player of any consequence.

White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
On this we agree.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
From what most people are saying, this is true. Its just not going to happen very soon and most people here were hoping. JR will still have control as long as his health holds out.
