Guys, the Bulls are going to stumble. They're too young not to do so. You are going to have guys hitting the rookie wall soon, and the schedule is going to get much tougher. If they do make the playoffs, I wouldn't expect much from them. There is a similarity between the NBA and NHL when it comes to the difference between regular season and playoff games. They take it to another level. None of the main cogs of the Bulls has any playoff experience whatsoever. If they win a playoff series, consider it a MAJOR accomplishment and sign of good things to come. If they don't, which is more likely to happen, consider it a learning experience. Even MJ had learn how to win in the playoffs. However, the resurgence of the Bulls is great to see. They are heading in the right direction. But if "the sky is the limit" is referring to this year's team, I think you are going to be disappointed.

Otherwise he pitched as good as Shingo. I find it curious that you are willing to overlook 3 bad appearances by Marte when it helps to prove your point. I'm guessing Marte made about 60 appearances, so that's 3 out 60. Now if you took Castillo's stats and threw out maybe his worst 8 or so games, then that would alter his stats positively as well. The only time I even consider just forgetting about a bad game is when a pitcher is left out on the mound just to burn innings even though everyone in the park knows he doesn't have his stuff. Example: Garland's 10 runs allowed game.

All this is old news. Coulda woulda shoulda. It's a new year and message needs to sent to the Twins. Very first pitch to a Twins hitter in 2005 needs to be "chin music". Throw down the damn gauntlet and let's go kick some ass.

The Democratic Party spent a year and a half in a campaign bashing George Bush. Their platform was basically "We are not George Bush". I remember Kerry giving this big speech in October, that he hammered on 4 points where Bush screwed up. He said Bush did this, I would have done this for each of these points. He never stood up and said, if elected I will do this. Considering the fact that I did not vote for Bush, Kerry had every opportunity to win my vote. The reason he didn't was that he failed to communicate his platform. The voices of the Democratic Party hit the American people with one message for a year and a half ... "We loathe and despise George W. Bush". Sorry ... you don't win my vote that way.

The whole time you've been selling this idea, I thought it was something that you had put together. Granted, it's a very good idea and the logistics make sense. Now hearing from another source, even one as skimpy as that thread, makes me a bit more hopeful that this gets done.

I'm 47 years old and don't remember seeing the Sox in the World Series. I'm that desparate to win. Just saying.
